Solution Architect

About the Role: We're looking for an exceptional Solution Architect to own and shape our GoTymeX architecture. This isn't an ivory tower architecture role; you'll be in action with product and engineering teams, making pragmatic technology decisions that balance speed, cost, and quality to deliver real customer and business value.

What You'll Do

• Partner with Product Owners and Engineering to challenge requirements and design secure, resilient, scalable architectures.
• Champion simplicity and build lean, cost-efficient cloud architectures for price-sensitive markets.
• Stay on the ground through code reviews, pairing during complex implementations, and handling production incidents.
• Bridge technology-business gaps by translating complex technical concepts into clear business language.
• Mentor engineers to think architecturally and foster psychological safety within teams.

What You Bring

• 8+ years in software engineering, focusing on backend systems (APIs, databases, message queues, distributed systems).
• Strong cloud-native systems experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and a solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and monitoring tools.
• A track record of cost-conscious engineering and making technology decisions that drive business outcomes.
• Note: Expat candidates will need to relocate to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
