About the Role: Engine is transforming business travel into something personalized, rewarding, and simple. We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Product-Led Growth (PLG) team, driving customer activation, engagement, and expansion across our full travel marketplace.
What You'll Do
- Lead a high-performing engineering team by fostering a culture of technical excellence, extreme ownership, and rapid execution.
- Manage the end-to-end development lifecycle, pioneering AI-driven practices to accelerate quality and delivery.
- Drive efficiency through agile methodologies and intelligent automation to redefine team velocity.
- Act as the bridge between engineering and other teams, translating complex technical concepts into actionable insights.
- Champion a customer-obsessed engineering culture by building data-driven, consumer-grade solutions.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in engineering, with at least 5 years in a management role leading complex projects.
- Exceptional leadership with a focus on driving high-velocity results and a culture of performance.
- Proven technical foundation in our core stack: Node.js, Ruby on Rails, React, AWS (Lambda/Terraform), and Datadog.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Deep understanding of agile software development methodologies and an AI-first mindset to manage complex priorities.
