Software Engineer, Dev Tools

About the Role: Polymarket is the world's largest prediction market platform. We are looking for a Software Engineer to own and improve the developer experience across our APIs, SDKs, and documentation. This role sits at the intersection of engineering and product thinking, helping external developers integrate with Polymarket faster and more intuitively.

What You'll Do

• Improve APIs, SDKs, and docs by owning the quality, consistency, and usability of developer-facing surfaces.
• Identify integration friction and turn it into practical improvements to reduce time to first success.
• Work closely with engineers to improve usability across developer-facing systems.
• Debug developer issues and close the feedback loop to guide what gets built next.
• Ship with leverage by using AI consistently as part of your development workflow.

What You Bring

• Strong engineering skills with a track record in TypeScript and/or JavaScript, plus at least one strongly typed compiled language (Rust, Go, C#, Kotlin, Swift, or C++).
• Experience building or maintaining SDKs, APIs, or developer documentation.
• Developer experience judgment to recognize friction and improve workflows naturally.
• Consistent, demonstrated use of AI tools over the last 6+ months in your engineering workflow.
• Bonus: Experience integrating APIs into React applications or familiarity with blockchain/Web3 platforms.
