Software Engineer

About the Role: At SingleStore, we are defining the future of data management. We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our managed service team and help push the boundaries of what's possible with a managed database product. You will design and implement new capabilities involving deep extensions to our networking, control plane, and overall managed service.

What You'll Do

• Develop a world-class managed service responsible for providing an innovative operational database solution in the cloud.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, customers, and other engineers to ensure a high-quality experience.
• Proactively contribute to the team's engineering process to assist with scaling and delivering projects on time.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a welcoming, fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

What You Bring

• 2+ years of experience working on a SaaS product.
• Experience working with distributed systems and containerized services.
• Experience working with cloud services in major clouds like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Bonus: Experience working with Kubernetes, preferably using Golang.
