Short Form Reel Video Editor

We’re looking for a creative short-form video editor who knows how to make videos stop the scroll.

You’ll be editing 100 Reels and UGC-style videos per month (less than a min long). We need someone who understands modern short-form pacing, strong hooks, clean storytelling, and the effects that make videos feel engaging without looking cheap or over-edited.

You should be great at:

• Editing fast-paced short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
• Adding engaging captions, kinetic text, emojis, callouts, highlights, and bold on-screen hooks
• Using pattern interrupts like zoom-ins, jump cuts, sound effects, memes, overlays, screen recordings, b-roll, camera shake, transitions, split screens, green screen effects, motion graphics, and visual emphasis
• Making talking-head videos feel dynamic, polished, and interesting
• Choosing the right music, sound effects, pacing, and cuts to keep retention high
• Understanding social media trends and knowing what makes people watch until the end
• Editing UGC ads, founder-led videos, storytelling clips, testimonials, and educational content

Bonus if you can also:

• Create thumbnails or cover frames
• Repurpose long-form videos into multiple short clips
• Understand direct-response ads and conversion-focused editing
• Use CapCut, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut, or similar tools

What we’re looking for:

Someone creative, fast, detail-oriented, and obsessed with making videos more engaging. You should not just “cut footage together.” You should know how to add energy, personality, and scroll-stopping moments.
