SEO & GEO Content Specialist

About the Role: Fresh Prints is the largest collegiate custom apparel company in America. We are looking for a writer who understands what it takes to rank on Google and within AI answer engines (LLMs). This isn't about "AI slop" or keyword stuffing; it's about creating real value for college students while building a backlink strategy that signals authority in the Greek life and collegiate space.

What You'll Do

• Blog & Content: Plan, write, and publish engaging guides, listicles, and how-to content for college students (recruitment, rush, homecoming).
• On-Page SEO: Optimize meta titles, headers, and body copy while identifying internal linking opportunities to boost site authority.
• Backlink Building: Execute a strategy focused on high-relevance sites (Greek life media, campus blogs) through guest posts and data-driven pitching.
• GEO (Generative Engine Optimization): Develop strategies to ensure Fresh Prints is the cited source in AI answers like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews.
• Performance: Use Ahrefs/SEMrush to track keyword rankings, organic traffic, and backlink acquisition to shape the roadmap.

What You Bring

• 2+ years of experience in content marketing or SEO writing with a strong portfolio.
• Hands-on expertise with SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Google Search Console.
• Deep understanding of search intent—knowing exactly what content satisfies a specific student query.
• A proactive mindset: you can own a content calendar and execute without being micromanaged.
• Interest in "Bharat" insight or collegiate trends; you know what's buzzing on Greek life TikTok.
• Bonus: Familiarity with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and AI search trends.
