Senior Zscaler Engineer

Enterprise Zscaler environments require dedicated expertise to design, defend, and maintain them during critical moments. Our confidential enterprise client is seeking a Senior Zscaler Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience to take ownership of a complex, multi-platform security environment, including ZIA, ZPA, Zscaler for Workloads, and ZDX.

• End-to-end design, configuration, and administration of enterprise Zscaler environments across ZIA, ZPA, Workloads, and ZDX.
• Development, maintenance, and continuous optimization of security, access, and traffic policies.
• Disaster recovery for ZIA and ZPA, including proactive identification of failure points.
• A senior technical point of contact role, translating complex issues into clear solutions for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Cross-functional collaboration with networking, cybersecurity, cloud, and infrastructure teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on Zscaler engineering experience, recent, active, and deep.
• Strong, demonstrable expertise across ZIA, ZPA, Zscaler for Workloads, and ZDX.
• Proven experience in ZIA/ZPA disaster recovery and a current Zscaler certification.
• Confidence in independently troubleshooting complex enterprise networking and security issues.
• Strong communication skills to serve as the calm, credible voice for clients and colleagues.
• Flexibility to cover Eastern and Central US time zones.

Nice to have: Zscaler Digital Transformation Engineer certification, experience with Zscaler Branch Connectors, and experience in large enterprise Zscaler deployments.
