The role

As an UX Designer Sr, you are passionate about experience innovation and eager to push the boundaries of what’s possible. You bring 5+ YEARS of experience, a growth mindset and a drive to make a lasting impact.

You will thrive in this role if you are:

  • A curious problem solver who challenges the status quo
  • A collaborator who values teamwork and knowledge-sharing
  • Excited by the intersection of technology, creativity and data
  • Experienced in Agile methodologies and consulting (a plus)

Role responsibilities

The Senior UX Designer is a key contributor within the Experience Design team, working closely with strategists, product owners, visual designers, creative directors, researchers, copywriters, developers, and client stakeholders.

This role is suited to someone with 5+ years of experience who can independently own significant UX activities within a workstream, while collaborating with senior leads on larger or more complex initiatives. It is not a people-management role, but it does include supporting junior designers through feedback, collaboration, and best-practice sharing.

The role operates across three core dimensions: Thinking, Interaction, and Storytelling.

Thinking: Research & Validation

  • Plan and conduct research and validation activities such as interviews, usability testing, heuristic reviews, and competitive analysis, to understand user behaviors, needs, and pain points.
  • Synthesize insights into actionable UX recommendations.
  • Advocate for user needs and support evidence-based decisions throughout the design process.

Interactive: IA, Flows & Experience Design

  • Translate user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints into user journeys, information architecture, screen flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
  • Design interaction patterns that improve usability, accessibility, findability, and task completion, contributing to scalable design systems and UX frameworks.
  • Collaborate with visual designers and developers to translate the UX direction clearly into design and implementation.
  • Set foundations for a design system and help visual design document the interface to pixel-perfection.

Storytelling: Narrative & Content Design

  • Shape user-centered narratives and content hierarchies that align business goals, brand ambition, and user needs, translating research insights into compelling journeys and experience concepts.
  • Contribute to UX writing and interface content where appropriate — navigation labels, calls to action, onboarding, microcopy, form guidance, and instructional content.
  • Partner with copywriters, content strategists, brand teams, and creative disciplines to craft cohesive experiences that help users understand products, services, and value propositions.

Leverage AI & Emerging Design Practices as part of the craft

  • Apply and experiment with hands-on experience using AI-enabled tools (such as Figma, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to support research synthesis, ideation, prototyping, content exploration, and documentation.
  • Critically evaluate AI-generated outputs and decide when they are useful, appropriate, and aligned with project needs.
  • Approach the use of AI with balance, speed, quality, ethics, originality, and human judgment in design work.
  • Explore emerging technologies and how they can improve UX practice.

Collaboration & Delivery

  • Partner with product, strategy, technology, and client stakeholders throughout the design process.
  • Present UX rationale, concepts, and recommendations clearly and confidently.
  • Participate in workshops, design critiques, and collaborative working sessions.
  • Support junior designers through collaboration, feedback, and the sharing of best practices.
  • Maintain high standards of UX craft, documentation, presentation quality, and client engagement.

Must have qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in UX design, product design, experience design, service design, or related disciplines.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong end-to-end UX work across web, mobile, services, or complex digital products.
  • Experience conducting research and translating insights into journeys, interactions, content structures, and design decisions.
  • Strong understanding of information architecture, user flows, interaction design, prototyping, accessibility, and usability best practices.
  • Ability to craft clear experience narratives through journey design, content hierarchy, and UX writing.
  • Experience contributing to design systems, leveraging AI and libraries such as shadcn to accelerate and scale digital experiences.
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across strategy, design, content, and technology.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, with the ability to explain UX decisions to clients and internal teams.
  • Proficiency with Figma and modern UX design, prototyping, and collaboration tools.

Nice to have qualifications

  • Experience designing for luxury hospitality, travel, aviation, financial services, retail, or premium consumer brands.
  • Experience working with multicultural and distributed teams across regions and time zones.
  • Experience in a consulting environment or working directly with cross-functional client teams.
  • Familiarity with service design methods, including service blueprints, ecosystem maps, and cross-channel experience frameworks.
  • Experience facilitating client workshops, design sprints, usability sessions, or co-creation activities.
  • Familiarity with analytics, experimentation, content strategy, or behavioral insights in UX decision-making.

What sets you apart

You combine analytical thinking, interaction design, and storytelling to create experiences that are useful, usable, and meaningful. You can move confidently between research, journey design, and content, balancing user needs, business goals, and technical constraints while collaborating effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
