Driven by a high-performance, quality-obsessed financial philosophy centered around meticulous data validation, systemic internal controls, and data protection, Global Finance Teams equips exceptional professionals with an uncompromised remote canvas to leverage state-of-the-art ERP networks, manipulate complex cross-border taxation logs, and deploy scalable back-office management frameworks worldwide.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-obsessed, and systems-minded Senior US Payroll specialist to join our core centralized Corporate Control matrix under a full-time, 100% remote engagement framework open exclusively to qualified financial systems managers located within Metro Manila, Philippines. Operating as the primary operational authority over multi-state financial distributions and network access synchronization, you will step up to claim true individual operational and strategic accountability over end-to-end corporate wage processing, regulatory compliance auditing, and role-based identity security architectures. Shifting completely away from routine standalone local bookkeeping, passive document filing, simple manual data entering, or minor disconnected validation check loops, you will run an active data reconciliation, federal tax reporting, and network user lifecycle laboratory—partnering face-to-face with cross-functional HR, IT security, corporate finance, and audit teams. This position requires a global business operations veteran with 5+ years of craft depth who maps out comprehensive wage parameters fluidly natively using Accountant systems, diagnoses complex system access errors cleanly natively leveraging Accountant technical workflows (specifically requiring hands-on administrative mastery over Active Directory and enterprise HRIS suites), and commands high-velocity payroll deadlines confidently under a strict U.S. working hour shift.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Multi-State Payroll Governance: Formulate, execute, and direct comprehensive end-to-end payroll runs for a distributed U.S. workforce across weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly intervals cleanly natively utilizing Accountant platforms.
- Compensation and Deductions Management: Secure accurate calculations regarding employee base wages, overtime premiums, corporate bonuses, sales commissions, complex deductions, and regulatory wage garnishments.
- Active Directory (AD) Identity Triage: Provision, modify, and deactivate enterprise user accounts within Active Directory to enforce strict role-based access control (RBAC) metrics natively leveraging Accountant system tools.
- Rigorous Reconciliation and Compliance Auditing: Investigate and remediate structural ledger discrepancies, audit year-end tax reporting processes (including W-2 generation), and ensure absolute alignment with federal, state, and local wage/hour laws.
- SOX and Internal Control Enforcement: Maintain verifiable audit logs, draft system access procedures, and lead periodic security permissions reviews to satisfy internal policies, SOX criteria, and external corporate audits.
- Cross-Functional Stakeholder Alignment: Partner in lockstep with centralized HR, corporate benefits, and IT security infrastructure groups to coordinate onboarding/offboarding workflows and resolve authentication bottlenecks.
- Advanced Data Matrix Optimization: Build, manage, and analyze multi-tier data sets natively leveraging advanced Excel arrays, pivot tables, complex lookup scripts, and automated validation patterns.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Core Academic Prerequisite: Possession of a Bachelor degree from an accredited institution in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a strictly related professional discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of verified professional history running advanced U.S. multi-state payroll operations, corporate tax reporting, or financial systems consulting.
- Expert-tier capability managing employee compensation logs, validating tax declarations, and navigating complex corporate regulatory requirements natively utilizing Accountant workflows.
- Practical operational familiarity auditing user identities, configuring network permission controls, and managing application access metrics natively using Accountant infrastructure tools (specifically requiring explicit experience administering Active Directory configurations).
- Hands-on operational depth leveraging major enterprise-grade payroll platforms (such as ADP, Workday, UKG, Ceridian Dayforce, or Paychex) and data analysis tools.
- US Working Hour Alignment: Full availability and dedicated personal commitment to work a permanent night shift schedule matching active United States operational business hours.
- Location Context: Position open strictly to qualified financial experts located and resident within Metro Manila, Philippines to execute a highly autonomous, work-from-home remote track.
Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)
- Active Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) status issued by the American Payroll Association (APA).
- Background supporting automated payroll system migrations, enterprise data schema upgrades, or Identity and Access Management (IAM) framework alignments.
- Basic automation capabilities running PowerShell scripting languages to optimize automated user administration workflows.
- Deep familiarity navigating complex HRIS infrastructure such as SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or PeopleSoft.
What We Offer
- Vetted, Senior Corporate Accounting Blueprint: A highly competitive, full-time baseline corporate salary package calibrated precisely against your database craft depth, multi-state payroll specialization, and shift demands, ensuring professional transparency.
- The spectacular professional architecture to claim absolute structural ownership over both the financial processing loops and identity boundaries of a premier U.S. corporate account.
- Profound work-from-home remote parameters offering a 100% remote virtual environment, complete personal schedule execution trust, and zero physical geographic office commuting friction inside Manila.
- Direct collaboration with a talent-dense, highly motivated international corporate core that values modern systems thinking, high data security benchmarks, and zero administrative bureaucracy.
- Substantial space for multi-disciplinary professional growth, intersecting the high-demand domains of international enterprise finance and corporate IT systems administration.
