Senior UI Developer

About the Role: Eleventh Hour Games is a fast-growing studio focused on top-down action RPGs. As a Senior UI Developer, you will help build and evolve the user interface systems that shape the player experience for our breakout title Last Epoch and future adventures. You will work closely with design, art, and engineering to create performant, scalable, and polished UI features.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain UI systems and features that support gameplay, menus, HUDs, inventories, and progression.
• Develop scalable and maintainable UI architecture that can support long-term feature growth and iteration.
• Support data-driven UI workflows (e.g. MVVM) and integration with gameplay systems.
• Debug, optimize, and improve UI systems for performance, usability, and stability in-engine.
• Help identify technical risks, dependencies, and implementation tradeoffs early in development.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of professional game development experience, including building UI systems or player-facing features in shipped games.
• Proficiency in C++ and a strong understanding of UI architecture, usability, and systems design principles.
• Familiarity with modern game engines and UI implementation workflows.
• Experience supporting controller, keyboard/mouse, and multi-input UI experiences.
• Bonus: Experience building UI for RPGs, ARPGs, or systems-heavy games, and familiarity with shader and material math.
