We help online authors, coaches, YouTubers, podcasters, and global creatives scale, engage, and monetize their audiences with ease. By combining automated email marketing funnels, modular subscription hubs, and direct digital product commerce platforms into one unified ecosystem, Kit provides creative entrepreneurs with the ultimate tools to turn their passion into a sustainable, high-margin living.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly autonomous, product-minded, and full-stack proficient Senior Software Engineer II - Product Growth to join our newly formed core Growth vertical under a permanent, full-time 100% remote global layout. In this high-agency individual contributor (IC) seat, you will be the absolute technical owner of high-leverage product improvements across the entire funnel—spanning user acquisition, core activation milestones, customer retention, and multi-tier monetization layers. Shifting completely away from routine non-regulated data transcription entry logs, basic website styling additions, or generic administrative ticketing, you will operate an active high-concurrency A/B testing, user behavioral telemetry tracking, and legacy billing architecture refactoring laboratory. Partnering directly beside distributed Product Managers, Data Analysts, and Visual Designers, you will build strategic software loops to eliminate product drops and maximize user conversion velocities. This position requires a software authority with 6–8+ years of SaaS history who structures scalable code frameworks fluidly natively using React and Backend (Ruby on Rails) primitives, commands strong database logic with SQL analytics tools, and drives development with extreme ownership inside early-stage team conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full-Funnel Growth Governance: Own the technical design, architectural execution, and continuous optimization of user onboarding flows, engagement hooks, and in-product activation triggers natively utilizing React and Backend technologies.
  • SaaS Growth Loop Instrumentation: Build, manage, and scale robust experimentation infrastructures, formulating and running quantitative user-acquisition tests and subscription conversion milestones.
  • Data Telemetry & Analytics Operations: Extract, clean, and model user retention tracking variables natively leveraging SQL, connecting code variations directly to broader business metrics inside Omni, Mixpanel, or Looker.
  • Legacy Billing Domain Refactoring: Dive into, manipulate, and gradually modernize our complex, large-scale legacy subscription billing systems, balancing fast experimentation steps with slower, deliberate technical stability standards.
  • Reusable Infrastructure Scaffolding: Think beyond immediate feature deadlines, engineering modular backend services and flexible code hooks designed to accelerate and reuse across subsequent experimentation cycles.
  • Public-Facing Technical Communication: Document architectural decisions meticulously, publishing data findings and development insights transparently in public team boards so other engineering cells can seamlessly build on your work.
  • Cross-Functional Advisory Syncing: Collaborate close-knit next to Product Management and Marketing groups, bringing an analytical, outcome-driven point of view to define what the conversion funnel needs.
  • Generative AI Innovation: Thoughtfully integrate frontier generative AI utilities and machine learning systems into engineering workflows to maximize developer speed and tool optimization metrics.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 6–8+ years of proven, successful professional software development history operating as a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, Product Engineer, Backend Developer, Tech Lead, or closely matching tech-enabled business scalability capacity.
  • Expert Full-Stack Command: Complete, production-grade mastery engineering high-availability web applications natively utilizing Ruby on Rails (Backend) and React (Frontend) frameworks.
  • Demonstrated background driving product-led growth (PLG) initiatives within a recurring revenue SaaS environment involving subscription models, user trials, or conversion milestones.
  • Proven track record managing field experiments end-to-end, with the standalone capability to analyze data inputs using SQL databases and metrics interfaces.
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and textual communication strengths in English, with an established history presenting technical rationale and software architecture trade-offs cleanly to distributed multi-timezone squads.
  • Location & Deadline Context: Position operates under 100% remote global parameters, with primary coordination synchronized to US East Coast working hours. Application deadline is strictly configured for 31 July 2026 at 09:00 GMT+5.

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

  • Prior platform or functional background scaling creator economy tools, newsletter delivery infrastructures, or high-volume payment processing modules.
  • An adaptable, high-agency persona that excels inside ambiguity, actively embraces flat organizational frameworks, and prefers continuous learning over rigid structural playbooks.

What We Offer

  • Standardized Global Tech Engineering Compensation Matrix: A highly competitive, geography-agnostic annual base salary of $186,000 USD (Midpoint of Level 4), supplemented by a definitive $50,000 equity configuration and corporate profit-sharing allocations.
  • 100% remote workspace infrastructure autonomy anywhere on the globe, backed by a WeWork membership or localized co-working stipend.
  • Category-Defining Product Influence: Elite professional landmarks achieved by hand-picking and architecting the primary user experiences that empower millions of digital creators to scale their brands.
  • Comprehensive family health preservation setups, covering up to $2,100 per month toward premium medical options via Aetna, along with fully company-paid dental and vision configurations.
  • Access to a 5% corporate matching 401(k) account, an extensive equipment budget ($2,000 for your first two years, $1,000 every subsequent two years plus a separate company laptop), a dedicated $3,500 annual learning budget, childcare assistance up to $3,000/year through JOON, 20 days of annual Paid Time Off (PTO), 10 paid company holidays, 2 weeks of paid sick time, and a $1,000 paid paid vacation bonus when you unplug completely for five consecutive days.
  • Access to 12 weeks of paid parental leave, gender-affirming benefits, comprehensive medical/bereavement leaves, an annual winter break closure week in December, a four-week paid sabbatical after five years, and fantastic company-wide retreats twice a year face-to-face.
