Senior Software Engineer - Platform Productivity

About the Role: Grafana Labs is a remote-first, open-source powerhouse. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer for our Platform Productivity squad. This team is responsible for helping our internal engineers release their software onto our infrastructure securely and measurably, building the internal developer platform that powers the creators of Grafana, Mimir, Loki, and Tempo.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain our Internal Engineering Platform (IEP).
• Manage and develop the CI/CD platform alongside build, release, and deployment automation.
• Implement application configuration management and artefact management tooling.
• Act as part of an on-call rotation to support Platform tooling.
• Work with diverse internal teams to support the implementation of their requirements.

What You Bring

• Software engineering experience within a Platform group delivering services to internal engineering teams.
• Experience working in a cloud environment with Kubernetes administration (experience with Tanka is a plus).
• Strong Infrastructure as Code skills using Terraform or Crossplane.
• Familiarity with Go and operating your code using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience or interest in implementing and maintaining observability systems and processes.
