Senior Software Engineer II (Golang, Partnerships)

About the Role: SpotOn is a leading restaurant tech company giving independent restaurants the tools to compete and win. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer II to build and maintain partner-facing APIs and integration systems at scale. You will take end-to-end ownership of partner integrations and work through real complexity.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain partner-facing APIs and integration systems at scale, handling third-party contracts and upstream inconsistencies.
• Treat AI as a core development partner, steering architecture, review, and quality while AI assists with coding.
• Take end-to-end ownership of outcomes, seeing fixes through wherever the problem lives in the stack.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, address tech debt, and raise the bar through code reviews and mentoring.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to clear paths for the team when deadlines get tight.

What You Bring

• 5 to 7 years of production experience building reliable software in high-traffic environments.
• 3+ years of hands-on Go (Golang) experience, including goroutines, channels, and testing frameworks.
• Strong experience designing and maintaining scalable APIs and integration layers with external services.
• Experience building with AI-native workflows and agentic development systems.
• Bonus: Experience with TypeScript/React, AWS/Terraform/Kubernetes, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
