Position Overview

We are seeking a highly autonomous, product-minded, and code-proficient Senior Software Engineer to join a leading UK organization undergoing an intensive AI transformation under a permanent, full-time remote configuration based in Pakistan. In this high-leverage full-stack development seat, you will be embedded inside a collaborative, flat engineering squad building and enhancing large-scale, customer-facing cloud platforms. Shifting completely away from routine non-regulated data transcription loops, simple visual template layout choices, or manual admin data logs, you will operate an active high-concurrency microservices development, cloud resource mapping, and generative AI toolchain integration laboratory. Taking absolute ownership over end-to-end features, you will work fluidly across frontend layouts and backend relational databases, submitting small, frequent pull requests and supporting multiple production releases each week. This position requires an engineering authority with 5+ years of full-stack experience who designs modern software architectures fluidly natively using Node.js, React, and cloud primitives, safeguards sensitive production schemas under strict GDPR compliance, and actively harnesses next-generation tools like Claude Code to accelerate daily delivery cycles.

Key Responsibilities

• Full-Stack Application Governance: Architecture, build, test, and deliver robust, maintainable full-stack software components natively utilizing Node.js, React, and Next.js frameworks, with additional integration layers in C#/.NET.
• End-to-End Feature Ownership: Lead technical projects independently across the entire software development lifecycle, from initial requirement discovery and functional mocking to automated testing, deployment configurations, and runtime monitoring.
• AI-Assisted Workflow Instrumentation: Actively implement advanced AI coding tools and prompt frameworks (including Claude Code environments) as a foundational driver to accelerate text iterations, code reviews, and daily deployment speeds.
• Relational Database Modeling: Design, query, and optimize secure relational data nodes using PostgreSQL or SQL Server, maintaining absolute precision when writing schemas and processing production datasets.
• Cloud-Native AWS Deployment: Build, scale, and manage fault-tolerant services hosted natively on AWS cloud computing infrastructure, minimizing downtime and latency overhead.
• Advanced QE Test Scaffolding: Cultivate ironclad platform stability by writing, auditing, and enforcing comprehensive automated test coverages using Jest and Vitest.
• Cross-Functional UX Harmonization: Coordinate directly with visual designers and product managers to translate complex mockups into intuitive, accessible interfaces, proactively identifying UX and WCAG improvements.
• Agile Tribe Syncing: Participate actively in agile ceremonies—encompassing daily stand-ups, retro reviews, interactive demos, and code-review pull request sessions—flagging blocks or technical risks early to support smooth project delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• A minimum of 5+ years of proven, successful professional history operating inside a Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack Architect, Lead JavaScript Developer, Node.js Specialist, React Engineer, or matching high-scale software engineering capacity.
• Expert Full-Stack Ecosystem Command: Thorough production-grade mastery writing modular logic inside TypeScript and Node.js ecosystems (minimum 5 years) and modern React or Next.js spaces (minimum 3 years).
• A minimum of 2+ years of professional technical familiarity utilizing C#/.NET development environments.
• Verified Infrastructure and Database Record: Solid history handling relational databases (specifically PostgreSQL or SQL Server) alongside active background deploying and orchestrating products within AWS (minimum 3 years across each).
• Advanced tool literacy constructing automated testing runs utilizing Jest or Vitest (minimum 3 years).
• Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted development tools (such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor) inside a production workflow.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication strengths in English, with an established background challenging requirements and contributing to technical architectural discussions.
• Location Context: Position operates under remote guidelines open exclusively to qualified full-stack authorities residing permanently within Pakistan (including Islamabad, Karachi, Hyderabad, Abbottabad, Faisalabad, Lahore, Multan, or Peshawar hubs).

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

• Prior technical or indexing background configuring high-performance enterprise search boundaries using OpenSearch or Elasticsearch.
