Senior Security Engineer

About the Role: At WeightWatchers, our mission is to build a worldwide community connected by healthy habits. We are seeking a Senior Security Engineer to build the future of digital health security. You will protect our patients by securing everything from our deepest infrastructure to the end-user experience.

What You'll Do

• Build and mature a detection and response program, participating in an incident on-call rotation.
• Design and build security for the future of our infrastructure and maintain our cloud security posture.
• Research threats and attack vectors impacting applications, and devise defense-in-depth architectures.
• Create solutions to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities, automating tedious tasks using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Partner with infrastructure, engineering, and compliance teams to share security standards across the organization.

What You Bring

• Expertise in responding to complex incidents across endpoint, network, and cloud environments.
• Strong background in detection engineering, SIEM, EDR, and CSPM tools.
• Deep experience in cloud security, specifically AWS (IAM, CloudTrail, SCPs, AWS Org, Config).
• Proficiency in scripting/coding to automate tasks and hands-on experience with Terraform.
• A well-rounded problem-solving mindset with deep care for patient and employee experiences.
