  • Implement API automation for REST services using RestAssured or equivalent libraries and supporting tools such as Postman

  • Create and maintain end-to-end automated coverage for complex business workflows and integrations

  • Integrate automated tests into Jenkins and Git-based CI/CD pipelines and improve the speed and quality of test feedback

  • Analyze automated test failures, identify root causes, and improve synchronization, diagnostics, logging, and reporting

  • Review automation code, promote maintainable engineering practices, and support framework modernization

  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, DevOps, Architects, and QA colleagues to build quality into delivery

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, refinement, estimation, and retrospectives

  • Provide clear and timely updates on automation progress, product risks, test results, and quality metrics

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

  • 5+ years of professional software quality assurance experience, with substantial hands-on test automation responsibility

  • Strong Java programming skills and experience designing, extending, or significantly improving test automation frameworks

  • Strong UI automation experience with Selenide or Selenium WebDriver

  • Strong API testing and API automation experience with REST services and RestAssured or an equivalent solution

  • Hands-on experience with TestNG, Maven, Git, and Jenkins or a comparable CI/CD platform

  • Practical understanding of reusable components, layered test architecture, Page Object patterns, and test orchestration

  • Experience diagnosing automated test failures across application and integration layers

  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams and contributing to planning, refinement, and technical discussions

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with automation of mobile app projects

  • Experience with mobile testing, image recognition, OCR, or HTML5 Canvas-based application automation

  • Experience with Playwright or Python-based automation

  • Experience with observability and reporting tools such as Grafana, Kibana, InfluxDB, or Splunk

  • Experience with test management and collaboration tools such as QMetry, Jira, and Confluence

  • Knowledge of MongoDB, MySQL, or other relational or NoSQL databases

  • Experience mentoring colleagues, reviewing automation code, or supporting framework modernization

  • Experience in regulated or high-transaction industries such as gaming, lottery, financial services, or e-commerce
