The Senior Product Manager is responsible for leading product strategy, vision, and roadmap for GHX’s core clinical solutions, which help health systems benchmark clinical and procedural spend, optimize product utilization, and support value analysis and physician preference item (PPI) decision-making. This individual ensures products deliver measurable clinical and financial value to hospitals and health systems. This role requires 7+ years of experience, including 4+ years in product management, with deep expertise in healthcare, clinical analytics, and procedural/surgical supply chain data. The role reports to the Director, Product Management and collaborates with cross-functional leaders across engineering, clinical strategy, sales, and customer success.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical and clinical domain expert on clinical solutions, assisting stakeholders in closing deals and ensuring positive customer experiences.
- Break down complex, ambiguous problems in clinical analytics and PPI into clear milestones and hold cross-functional stakeholders accountable to deadlines.
- Establish high-quality implementation norms to accelerate time to value for customers.
- Lead sales, product owners, and engineering teams to develop top-quality products by bridging gaps between customers/sales and engineering, even for technically or clinically complex issues.
- Conduct research with clinicians, value analysis committees, and supply chain leaders to identify customer needs and market gaps in category optimization and physician-level analytics.
- Analyze the competitive landscape and market trends in healthcare clinical analytics and procurement optimization, then define and execute strategies to become the market leader.
- Define, drive, and communicate product roadmaps aligned with corporate strategy, cross-portfolio delivery, and new capabilities.
- Partner with Product Pods and engineering teams to prioritize work based on market demands and business benefits.
- Lead development of value propositions and sales tools for the sales team.
- Collaborate with marketing and brand on external messaging and product naming.
- Lead cross-functional rollouts and go-to-market strategies for products and new features.
- Train customer-facing employees on product details, clinical value propositions, and sales techniques.
- Work with sales and finance to build business cases for forecasting and monitoring product success, driving product strategy.
- Set and evaluate product pricing using best-in-class strategies.
- Negotiate product priorities through internal processes.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including healthcare data privacy and security standards.
- Ability to travel 25-50%.

- Expertise in healthcare, clinical analytics, and procedural/surgical supply chain data, with fluency in physician preference items, value analysis, and procurement processes.
- Ability to independently break down complex problems into milestones, tasks, and target dates, holding stakeholders accountable.
- Superior stakeholder communication skills, translating feedback between technical and clinical/business audiences.
- Sound decision-making judgment, balancing risk versus reward and driving consensus among stakeholders.
- Strong technical fluency to discuss system architecture and evolution.
- Proven roadmap ownership using data-driven prioritization and planning.
- Cross-functional collaboration across customers, sales, marketing, operations, development, and suppliers.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of independent work.
- Ability to mentor junior product managers.
Required Education, Certifications, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Health Informatics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of related work experience, including 4+ years of product management experience.
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare, clinical analytics, or hospital/health system procurement and supply chain.
- Experience developing data or analytics products solving complex problems.
