Life360 is seeking a Senior Product Designer II to join their Revenue Experimentation team, focusing on driving growth through high-velocity design experimentation across subscription and monetization surfaces.

The role sits at the intersection of product design, growth strategy, and data-driven decision-making. You’ll design, test, and iterate on experiences to uncover revenue growth opportunities and deliver value to families. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, moves quickly without sacrificing craft, and wants their design decisions to have a measurable business impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute a high volume of experiments across trial conversion, trial-to-paid conversion, pricing, SKU routing, and churn/win-back strategies.
  • Turn loosely defined experiment briefs into well-scoped, testable hypotheses using research and data to validate or challenge assumptions.
  • Lead design for experiments from ideation to execution, partnering closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Data Scientists, and Content teams.
  • Define success metrics, interpret experiment results, and translate learnings into actionable hypotheses.
  • Present experiment concepts, progress, and results to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of product design experience, ideally with exposure to growth, experimentation, or subscription/monetization design.
  • A track record of shipping and iterating on A/B or multivariate experiments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to operate with ambiguity and refine loosely defined briefs into testable hypotheses using research or data.
  • Proactive, ideas-first mindset—bringing forward concepts rather than waiting for fully-formed briefs.
  • Strong collaboration skills, able to lead and pressure-test ideas as a strategic partner to Product Managers.
  • Experience partnering with engineers, content, and data science across the full experiment lifecycle.
  • Fluency in Figma and familiarity with experimentation tooling (Statsig, Optimizely, Amplitude, etc.).
  • Comfort using AI tools to accelerate design and production work.
  • Strong visual design craft with hands-on animation skills.
  • Portfolio showcasing experimentation work, problem framing, iteration, and measurable impact.

Ways of Working:

  • Operates in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, balancing multiple experiments simultaneously.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity—validating and refining experiment briefs through research or data.
  • Proactively contributes ideas during ideation sessions and leads projects from concept to execution.
  • Collaborates across teams to ensure consistent, aligned experiences.
  • Maintains clean, well-documented Figma files with traceable rationale for design decisions.
  • Involves engineers early to address technical constraints proactively.
  • Participates in bug bashes to test experiments before launch.
  • Uses AI as a productivity partner, leveraging it for research, analysis, drafting, prototyping, and analytics.

AI-Native Expectations:

  • Daily use: Embed AI in workflows for tasks like research, analysis, drafting, prototyping, and experimentation.
  • Review and accountability: Treat AI-generated outputs with the same care as manual deliverables.
  • Velocity: Use AI to achieve meaningful leverage, doing more with the same time and tackling problems requiring larger teams.
  • Team leadership: Share AI workflow strategies, automate prompting, and mentor teammates.
  • Continuous learning: Stay updated on AI tooling advancements and recommend improvements.
