About the Role: Instrumentl is a hypergrowth, YC-backed startup helping over 5,500 nonprofits find, win, and manage grants. We are hiring a Senior Product Designer to own "Manage," our post-award product area where $1.1B+ in grant funding is tracked, reported on, and kept compliant.

What You'll Do

  • Lead end-to-end design for the Manage product area: from discovery and research through shipping and iteration.
  • Shape how financial data is visualized and surfaced for non-accountants.
  • Design complex, multi-stakeholder workflows for cross-team collaboration.
  • Envision AI-powered features to free up grant professionals' time and increase compliance.
  • Raise the quality bar across Instrumentl's design system.

What You Bring

  • 7+ years of product design experience, with at least 2 years at the senior level.
  • Proven track record owning complex B2B or enterprise product areas end-to-end.
  • Deep expertise designing data-heavy UIs like financial dashboards, tracking tools, and reporting views.
  • Strong Figma skills and active use of AI tools in your design workflow.
  • Ability to conduct and synthesize user research independently.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $160,000 - $205,000 per year, plus equity.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), and generous PTO (including parental leave).
  • Company laptop plus a stipend to set up your home workstation.
  • 100% remote work flexibility within the continental U.S. or Canada.
