Senior Product Designer

Role Overview

Are you passionate about creating intuitive digital experiences that empower millions of entrepreneurs?

As a Senior Product Designer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Jimdo's products by designing seamless, accessible, and impactful customer experiences across web and mobile platforms. Reporting to the Head of Experience Design, you'll lead end-to-end product design—from discovery and research through delivery—working closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, Data teams, and AI specialists.

You'll combine systems thinking, strategic product design, customer insights, and emerging AI design practices to solve meaningful customer problems while helping raise the overall design maturity across the organization through collaboration and mentorship.

Your impact:

• Lead end-to-end product design across discovery, ideation, prototyping, validation, and delivery.
• Conduct generative and evaluative user research, usability testing, customer interviews, and Jobs-to-be-Done discovery to uncover customer needs.
• Design elegant, accessible, and responsive experiences across desktop and mobile using modern design systems and WCAG best practices.
• Create high-quality interaction designs, prototypes, information architecture, and visual experiences that drive customer value.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Research, Marketing, Data, and AI teams to influence product strategy and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Design and prototype AI-powered experiences, conversational interfaces, and AI-assisted workflows while promoting responsible AI design.
• Contribute to design systems and design operations, and continuously improve design quality, processes, and team practices.

What you bring:

• 5–8 years of experience designing digital SaaS products, with ownership across the full product lifecycle.
• Strong expertise in UX, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, information architecture, usability testing, and systems thinking.
• Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative user research and translating insights into impactful product solutions.
• Deep proficiency with Figma and modern prototyping tools, alongside experience working with design systems.
• Proven success collaborating within cross-functional Agile product teams alongside Product Managers and Engineers.
• Strong strategic thinking, communication, stakeholder management, and mentoring skills that help elevate teams and influence product direction.
• Experience designing AI-assisted or AI-powered product experiences is highly desirable.
