Position Overview
We are seeking a highly autonomous, numbers-obsessed, and platform-fluent Senior Performance Marketing Manager - SEA to own our primary paid acquisition engine under a permanent, full-time remote configuration open across Singapore and the Philippines. This is a pure hands-on craftsman role tailored specifically for an individual contributor who loves living inside ad managers and optimization loops, shifting completely away from routine non-regulated administrative data transcription filing, basic front-end template shifts, or low-level people management logs. Partnering directly with the Head of Marketing, you will act as an elite acquisition operator, managing the end-to-end strategy, deployment configurations, and unit economics that drive B2C subscription revenue. This position requires a digital growth authority with 5+ years of hands-on platform history who maps scalable buyer loops fluidly natively using Google Ads and paid social acquisition tools, personally coordinates multi-million dollar annual ad budgets, uses AI utilities to accelerate creative iteration, and maintains daily schedule flexibility to ensure meaningful operational overlap with US Eastern working hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Search Engine Acquisition Governance: Claim absolute technical and strategic ownership over Google Ads and Microsoft Ads pipelines, constructing account structures, search-term hygienics, and Performance Max arrays natively utilizing Google Ads frameworks.
- Paid Social Program Scaffolding: Stand up, test, and lead our emerging paid social acquisition bet (Meta first), engineering disciplined testing budgets, audience signals, and objective go/no-go success criteria.
- Unit Economics Optimization: Ruthlessly balance conversion volume against strict target customer acquisition costs (CAC) and customer lifetime value (LTV) limits to maintain profitability scale.
- Custom Reporting & Telemetry: Author and maintain your own campaign monitoring dashboards, tracking spend pacing, payback timelines, conversion lag indices, and funnel attribution models.
- AI-Native Performance Upgrades: Actively deploy advanced AI-native frameworks and prompt structures into your daily operational workflow to optimize ad text copies, perform structural account audits, and accelerate quantitative analysis.
- Landing Page & CRO Collaboration: Coordinate face-to-face with product marketing lines and the Head of Marketing to direct high-converting landing page variants and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) tests.
- Cross-Functional Communication Syncing: Deconstruct intricate algorithmic adjustments, data signals, and budget tradeoffs into clear, scannable performance briefs for both technical and non-technical company leads.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- A minimum of 5+ years of proven, successful professional history operating inside a Senior Performance Marketing Manager, Paid Search Architect, Growth Campaign Specialist, Digital Acquisition Lead, or matching client-acquisition technical capacity.
- Expert High-Scale Budget Command: Verified history personally managing and scaling over $1.2 million in annual paid ad spend budgets, with an intricate understanding of efficiency-versus-volume tradeoffs.
- Master-level execution literacy across core search engines, encompassing automated bidding strategies, keyword match rules, smart bidding vectors, and audience signal filtering.
- Demonstrated history optimizing conversion tracking pipelines inside B2C subscription or freemium product funnels (such as trial-based models, user lifecycle triggers, and multi-stage tracking).
- Outstanding written, verbal, and textual communication strengths in English, with an established history explaining technical data sets cleanly to cross-functional leaders.
- Mandatory US Schedule Overlap: Absolute willingness and professional flexibility to maintain meaningful daily operational overlap hours with US Eastern Standard Time (EST) business loops.
- Location Context: Position operates under remote parameters open exclusively to qualified digital growth operators residing permanently within Singapore or the Philippines.
Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)
- Prior technical background compiling data queries or building custom dashboards utilizing SQL, BigQuery, or Looker Studio nodes.
- Grounded familiarity with server-side tracking setups and deep tracking attribution pipelines (including Google Tag Manager server-side or Rudderstack implementations).
- Direct performance marketing experience scaling software products within the CareerTech, EdTech, Human Resources, or recruiting-adjacent SaaS industries.
