The parsing team at AllSpice provides the foundational SDKs and data models that support the entire stack, enabling other teams to build services, experiences, and automations.
For most projects, you will collaborate with engineers across teams to define:
- What data they require, including its shape, structure, and stability guarantees. You’ll also determine if this data is already available in a different format.
- How to deliver this data, assessing whether new file parsing is needed or if an external database is required.
- The interface for consuming the data, deciding between providing an SDK or code module, or launching a dedicated service.
You’ll coordinate with the parsing team to decide when to extend existing interfaces or introduce new ones. Additionally, you’ll work with product managers, sales, and other stakeholders to align on project timelines, features, and constraints.
This is a highly autonomous role, requiring a collaborative yet self-driven approach.
Example Projects
- Develop capabilities to merge binary file formats while preserving the overall structure and usability of the resulting file.
- Create an SDK for generating schematics, PCBs, and other ECAD data, used by both the AI and Automations teams.
- Enhance the performance of the parsing engine.
- Develop and implement parsers for new file formats as needed.

AllSpice
View Company ProfileAllSpice (operating at allspice.io) is a hardware collaboration platform engineered for modern electronics development. Founded in 2018 by co-founders Valentina Ratner and Kyle Dumont, and headquartered in Somerville, MA, AllSpice bridges the gap between traditional hardware workflows and modern software development practices. Under the hood, it unifies schematics, PCB design, and firmware collaboration into a shared workspace, enabling real-time reviews, error detection, and version control—akin to Git for hardware. This allows electrical engineers and hardware teams to streamline design iterations, reduce prototyping errors, and accelerate time-to-market. Backed by a $15 million Series A round and a prior $10 million venture funding round, AllSpice has scaled its enterprise functionality while expanding its customer base in the electronics industry.
