Who You Are

You are a senior network security engineer and architect with deep Palo Alto Networks expertise and a strong Professional Services mindset. You are comfortable leading complex client engagements from discovery and architecture through implementation, migration, optimization, and operational handoff. You can translate business, security, and technical requirements into practical, scalable architectures that support enterprise environments and client outcomes.

You bring the confidence to own technical workstreams independently while collaborating closely with clients, project teams, sales, delivery leadership, and other engineers. You are a trusted advisor who can facilitate technical workshops, make sound design recommendations, troubleshoot complex issues, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You also bring a builder’s mindset. You are energized by the opportunity to help shape delivery standards, mentor engineers, create reusable playbooks and reference architectures, and strengthen the overall Security Practice at Myriad360.

About The Role

The Senior Network Security Engineer – Palo Alto Networks helps build and strengthen Myriad360’s Security Practice within the Professional Services Delivery System. You will lead the design, deployment, migration, optimization, and troubleshooting of enterprise network security solutions, with a primary focus on Palo Alto Networks technologies.

This role combines hands-on delivery, technical leadership, mentoring, client advisory, and practice development. You will be expected to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients while also helping create standards, playbooks, and reusable approaches that make future engagements stronger.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Lead discovery, architecture, design, implementation, migration, validation, and operational transition for complex security engagements.
  • Develop HLDs, LLDs, implementation plans, test plans, rollback plans, diagrams, and knowledge-transfer materials.
  • Lead production cutovers, troubleshoot complex network and security issues, and identify delivery risks early.
  • Support scoping, estimation, SOW validation, technical workshops, and sales-to-delivery handoffs.
  • Mentor engineers and contribute to reusable playbooks, standards, reference architectures, and lessons learned.
  • Partner with Practice Leadership, Delivery Operations, PMO, Sales, and Technical Project Leads to support strong client delivery.
  • Complete ongoing security awareness training and comply with company policies to the requirements section.
  • Identify and escalate security risks to the appropriate Executive Leadership Team member and actively contribute to remediation efforts.
  • Other duties as assigned

Desired skills and experience:

  • 8+ years of enterprise network security engineering, consulting, or Professional Services experience.
  • Deep hands-on Palo Alto Networks experience designing, deploying, migrating, and troubleshooting production environments.
  • Experience with PA-Series and/or VM-Series, Panorama, security policy, NAT, routing, VPN, high availability, logging, and threat-prevention capabilities.
  • Experience with Prisma Access, Strata Cloud Manager, GlobalProtect, Palo Alto SD-WAN, SSL/TLS decryption, App-ID, User-ID, Device-ID, AIOps, and policy optimization.
  • Experience leading firewall refreshes, migrations, consolidations, segmentation, Zero Trust, or SASE initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Azure, AWS, hybrid cloud, SIEM integration, identity services, NAC, certificate services, and authentication dependencies.
  • Experience with migration tooling such as Expedition and multi-vendor security environments.
  • Strong client-facing communication, technical workshop facilitation, documentation, troubleshooting, and mentoring skills.
  • Current PCNSA, PCNSE, or active progress toward a Palo Alto Networks professional-level certification preferred.
