KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Based remotely and reporting to the Sr. Vice President, Global Logistics, The Senior Manager, Continuous Improvement will play a critical leadership role in driving cost savings, service improvement, and operational excellence across SharkNinja’s Operations organization. This individual will own the visibility, governance, and execution of initiatives that reduce cost, improve service, and unlock scalable efficiency across the business.
This role will partner cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Sales, Planning, and other key stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and deliver high-impact opportunities across the Operations expense base. The Senior Manager will own the Operations Efficiency project portfolio, ensuring initiatives are clearly defined, delivered on time, financially validated, and incorporated into forecast updates in partnership with Finance.
This is a highly visible, hands-on role for a strategic operator who can move seamlessly from executive-level portfolio management to deep analytical problem solving and cross-functional execution.
KEY FOCUS AREAS
Own the Operations Efficiency Agenda
- Lead the Operations Efficiency program across SharkNinja, serving as the central owner for cost savings, service improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives across the Operations expense base.
- Develop and manage the Operations Efficiency project portfolio, including opportunity identification, business case development, initiative prioritization, execution tracking, risk management, and benefits realization.
- Establish clear governance, routines, and reporting mechanisms to ensure initiatives remain on track, roadblocks are escalated quickly, and leaders have visibility to progress, savings, and risks.
- Act as a thought partner to Operations leadership by identifying where cost, service, process, or organizational improvements can unlock meaningful business value.
Drive Cost Savings and Service Improvement
- Identify opportunities to reduce Operations Expense while maintaining or improving service levels, customer experience, and operational reliability.
- Partner with Global Logistics to deeply understand distribution, transportation, delivery, warehousing, carrier, and network cost drivers.
- Lead cross-functional workstreams focused on improving cost-to-serve, delivery efficiency, network utilization, freight optimization, accessorial management, productivity, and service performance.
- Translate data and operational insights into actionable recommendations, business cases, and execution plans.
- Challenge existing ways of working and bring a continuous improvement mindset to how SharkNinja scales operations with speed, agility, and discipline.
Partner Cross-Functionally to Deliver Results
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, Planning, Consumer Experience, and other business partners to identify and execute opportunities.
- Build strong working relationships with Finance to ensure savings methodologies are aligned, benefits are validated, and impacts are reflected in forecast updates, budgets, and financial reporting.
- Create transparency across initiative owners, milestones, financial impacts, dependencies, and risks.
- Influence without authority across a fast-moving, matrixed organization, ensuring teams are aligned around common goals and accountable for delivery.
Lead Continuous Improvement
- Bring structured problem-solving, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methods to complex operational challenges.
- Identify root causes of cost increases, service misses, process inefficiencies, and operational friction.
- Develop scalable processes, playbooks, and tools that improve how SharkNinja identifies, manages, and delivers efficiency opportunities.
- Create a culture of ownership, accountability, and speed in delivering operational improvements.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate is a high-energy, analytical, commercially minded operator who thrives in a fast-paced environment. They are equally comfortable building an executive-ready savings roadmap, digging into logistics cost drivers, challenging assumptions, aligning Finance on benefit validation, and pushing cross-functional teams to deliver.
This person will bring a “CEO mindset” to Operations Expense: seeing the full picture, owning outcomes, making tradeoffs, driving accountability, and relentlessly pursuing better ways to deliver cost, service, and operational performance.
- 7+ years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Continuous Improvement, or a related field.
- Experience in consumer products, retail, eCommerce, durable goods, or high-growth global operations.
- Demonstrated experience leading cost reduction, operational efficiency, productivity, or transformation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of logistics, distribution, transportation, warehousing, delivery operations, and cost-to-serve drivers.
- Experience managing a portfolio of cross-functional initiatives with multiple owners, timelines, dependencies, and financial impacts.
- Proven ability to partner with Finance on savings validation, forecasting, budgeting, or financial performance tracking.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into clear insights, recommendations, and action plans.
- Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders and senior leaders in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Background in Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, process improvement, or operational excellence.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio; experience with ERP/WMS/eCommerce platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud) a plus
EDUCATION
Academic credentials should include an undergraduate degree from a respected college / university, ideally in a discipline relevant to supply chain, such as Supply Chain Management or Engineering. A Master’s degree in Business Administration or technical discipline, while not required, will further differentiate the ideal candidate.
