Position Overview
We are seeking a highly autonomous, strategy-forward, and people-centric Senior Localization Team Lead to manage and scale our multi-locale content ecosystem under a permanent, full-time remote footprint open across Poland. At Hostinger, localization is treated not merely as a mechanical translation pipeline, but as a central business growth lever. Shifting completely away from routine non-regulated administrative data entry loops, basic text formatting tasks, or general helpline support ticketing, you will act as the absolute technical owner over cross-functional linguistic operations, programmatic AI-human validation models, and distributed resource timelining. Managing a major internal squad of Localization Specialists and an agile on-demand global freelancer network, you will translate high-level marketing and product objectives into scannable execution roadmaps without existing playbooks. This position requires an industry veteran with 5+ years of localization engineering history who handles text assets fluidly natively using Translation, Content Writer, and SEO primitives, implements rigorous data-driven performance analytics, and collaborates close-knit neben distributed engineering and product stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Linguistic Operations Governance: Lead, coach, and develop a large distributed team of in-house Localization Specialists, fostering psychological safety, clear accountability, and continuous data-driven quality benchmarks natively utilizing Translation best practices.
- Freelancer Lifecycle Instrumentation: Supervise and scale our international on-demand contributor network, taking absolute ownership over global sourcing, multi-locale onboarding, quality standards compliance, and offboarding workflows.
- Cross-Functional Value Bridge: Translate macro business objectives into operational localization briefs, running tight feedback loops beside multi-regional Project Managers, Marketing cells, and Product squads.
- AI-Human Integration Triage: Evaluate, pilot, and deploy generative AI tools and localization technology pipelines, building feedback loops that Responsibly augment human review to maximize efficiency natively leveraging Content Writer structures.
- Performance Telemetry Diagnostics: Investigate and isolate translation quality anomalies, tracking metric variables like quality evaluation scores, OKR trend shifts, and execution velocity rather than simple volume data.
- Uncharted Market Expansion Control: Champion complex localization challenges without predefined playbooks, navigating strategic software version adaptations and net-new geographic brand launches seamlessly.
- AI Search Readiness Optimization: Guide language owners on technical search parameters, adapting localized copy architectures for structured data setups, entity visibility, and AI crawler monitoring tracks natively deploying SEO frameworks.
- Operational Blockade Mitigation: Filter organizational noise from your core development units, validating strategic commercial priorities against real-time team capacity and structural market realities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- A minimum of 5+ years of proven, successful professional technology experience operating within the global localization industry, with at least 3+ dedicated years in a leadership or managerial seat directing in-house linguists.
- Expert Linguistic Background: Meticulous practical experience operating directly as a translator, editor, proofreader, or localization specialist—possessing complete mechanical clarity regarding the tasks you manage.
- Demonstrated history coordinating external contributor networks across multiple distinct multi-locale markets, tracking performance data via centralized project management databases.
- Deep operational fluency manipulating core localization environments, translation memories, CAT tools, and modern AI language architectures (such as Gemini, ChatGPT, or Claude solutions).
- Outstanding written, verbal, and textual presentation communication strengths in English, with a business-first mindset capable of connecting linguistic quality results to revenue outcomes.
- Location Context: Position operates under remote guidelines open exclusively to qualified localization and brand strategy leaders residing permanently within Poland.
Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)
- Prior platform or consulting history driving multi-locale content translation explicitly inside high-growth SaaS marketplaces, cloud web hosting platforms, or large-scale digital product companies.
- Direct operational intimacy using advanced web optimization or tracking software architectures like SurferSEO, Accuranker, or Confluence.
- An adaptable, high-agency persona characterized by strong intellectual curiosity, a resilient approach to rapid changes, and a passion for leading through ambiguity.
What We Offer
- Top-Tier Polish Marketing & Localization Leadership Remuneration: A highly competitive annual salary package discussed transparently throughout the process and calibrated precisely to your individual systems pedigree and closing velocity, backed by global web-tech revenue.
- 100% remote workspace infrastructure autonomy open throughout Poland, supplemented by a generous home office budget to elevate your workspace.
- Venture-Scale Brand Influence: Elite professional growth milestones achieved by single-handedly blueprinting the multilingual voice and automated AI-human review pipelines experienced by millions of global clients.
- Comprehensive health and physical preservation benefits, including company-provided sick days, 20 paid suspension days, recharging leaves, and premium Headspace wellness subscriptions.
- Access to an outstanding, 360-growth international community providing limitless learning allowances via elite platforms like Reforge and CoachHub, combined with global tech conferences, milestone gifts (weddings, parenthood, graduations), and team-wide workations.
