About WearLinq: WearLinq is a groundbreaking healthcare startup emerging from Stanford University on a mission to democratize healthcare. We built an FDA-cleared 6-channel EKG wearable device and mobile app that bridges the gap between patients and providers to diagnose arrhythmia and reduce stroke risk.

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer with a heavy backend focus to build our next-generation Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) ECG diagnostics portal. You will handle everything from high-performance data ingestion to modern front-end rendering.

What You'll Do

• Design and build high-performance backend microservices and RESTful interfaces.
• Integrate complex data from AI/ML classification algorithms into the diagnostic portal.
• Architect data models and implement automated data-flows while maintaining HIPAA and SOC 2 compliance.
• Manage infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub), and DevOps for scalability and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including medical professionals and hardware engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with a strong focus on backend.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, and React.
• Experience with AWS Serverless, distributed computing, and big data architectures.
• Strong SQL skills (Postgres/RDBMS) and experience with dynamic front-end rendering (progressive loading, zooming).
• Experience with modern AI workflows and integrating 3rd party solutions.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Nice to Have: Experience in FDA/SaMD environments (IEC 62304, ISO 14971, 21 CFR Part 11).
