Position Overview

We are seeking a highly autonomous, code-fluent, and deployment-oriented Senior Full Stack Engineer to lead high-leverage product features and design scalable architecture components under a permanent, fully remote configuration based in Cairo, Egypt. Sitting within our core Platform Engineering vertical, you will act as a key technical voice responsible for taking significant pieces of work from initial discovery with Product down to live deployment on a platform handling hundreds of thousands of orders weekly. Shifting completely away from routine non-regulated administrative data transcription loops, entry-level website layout styling, or simple helpline customer support logs, you will run an active high-concurrency database optimization, event-driven queueing, and multi-tenant application laboratory. Partnering directly beside distributed product managers, QA specialists, and DevOps directors, you will ensure our services are perfectly optimized for massive global scale. This position requires a software veteran with extensive multi-platform history who handles full-stack components fluidly natively using Backend, React, and Python primitives, commands complete operational intimacy with modern Object-Oriented PHP frameworks and TypeScript, and leverages generative AI-assisted development tooling with clean, healthy skepticism.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Feature Governance: Lead the complete full-stack development lifecycle for significant system features, refining abstract customer prerequisites with Product and following through to production monitoring natively utilizing Backend engineering rules.
• Frontend Application Customization: Design, implement, and ship highly responsive user experiences, interactive workflow panels, and client modules cleanly deploying production-grade React and TypeScript frameworks natively leveraging Frontend primitives.
• High-Traffic Architecture Control: Architect and optimize core system components to mitigate scale anomalies—managing application hotspots, database caching tiers, messaging queues, telemetry logging, and system idempotency hooks.
• Relational Database Optimization: Write, profile, and scale query plans natively utilizing MySQL, auditing complex execution paths and resolving slow query bottlenecks with mathematical precision.
• API Integration Engineering: Author, test, and consume resilient HTTP and RESTful APIs, gracefully handling the messy, real-world constraints of third-party platform reliability and multi-tenant webhook triggers.
• AI-Assisted Production Triage: Leverage cutting-edge AI-native coding applications (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) into daily developer workflows, matching high-velocity execution with rigorous code review standards to detect hallucinated defects before merge.
• Cross-Functional Technical Synthesis: Act as an internal champion and strategic translator, explaining complex backend logic to non-technical stakeholders and writing clear, scannable technical documentation to drive asynchronous alignment.
• Engineering Mentorship & Standards: Set the bar for clean, testable software design patterns, leading collaborative design reviews and actively mentoring mid-level developers within a highly autonomous team structure.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• A minimum of 5+ years of proven, successful professional software engineering experience building, operating, and evolving production-scale web applications, cloud-native APIs, and high-concurrency distributed systems.
• Expert Full-Stack Technical Command: Production-grade operational literacy developing non-trivial backend services natively using **modern PHP (7/8+)** alongside advanced hands-on capability closing interface features natively in **React/TypeScript**.
• Meticulous tracking experience analyzing relational database metrics, reading profiling tables, and designing performant data access abstractions.
• Outstanding written, verbal, and textual presentation communication strengths in English, with an established ability to work independently, push back constructively on product specifications, and deliver honest timeline estimations.
• Location Context: Position operates under 100% remote parameters open exclusively to qualified full-stack software engineering authorities residing permanently within Cairo, Egypt.

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

• Prior platform or consulting history driving software features explicitly inside the hospitality tech, point-of-sale (POS) ecosystems, global payment processing gateways, or hyper-scale enterprise SaaS sectors.
• Direct operational familiarity utilizing major cloud providers (AWS or GCP) alongside container orchestration layers such as Kubernetes, Docker, and automated CI/CD deployment pipelines natively deploying DevOps tools.
• Polyglot developer instinct with active baseline coding familiarity using backend languages such as Python or Node.js, or experience exploring search indexing structures like Elasticsearch or GraphQL schemas.
• Familiarity evaluating, testing, or building product extensions that incorporate Large Language Models (LLMs) into production workflows via prompt engineering, RAG, or performance eval frameworks.
