About Moniepoint: Moniepoint is Africa’s all-in-one financial technology powerhouse, providing a secure, seamless banking, credit, business management, and cross-border transactional infrastructure for over 20 million businesses and individuals each month. Operating as Nigeria’s largest commercial merchant acquirer, our systems power most of the country’s point-of-sale (POS) transactions, processing over $250 billion in digital payment volume annually. We combine intense data-driven insights, big data analytics, and ultra-scalable software engineering to substitute legacy banking limitations with an innovative, customer-focused technology community built for continuous growth.

Position Overview

We are seeking an exceptionally logical, user-centric, and architecture-minded Senior Frontend Engineer to join our core client-side product division under a permanent, full-time remote framework within Pakistan. Operating as a principal technical leader on our frontend team, you will step up to claim absolute user interface design, client-side application design, and feature deployment accountability across our expanding digital business dashboards. Shifting completely away from routine website asset logging, basic cross-platform wrapper tweaks, or generic administrative tasking, you will run an active state-management balancing, performance auditing, and high-throughput web app optimization laboratory—partnering face-to-face with Enterprise Architects, backend infrastructure teams, UI/UX designers, and global technical directors. This position requires a software engineering authority with 5+ years of Javascript depth who models responsive user views fluidly natively using React architectures, evaluates application health cleanly using modern monitoring dashboards, and directs end-to-end feature delivery confidently inside fast-paced agile development files.

Key Responsibilities

  • High-Quality Frontend Architecture: Collaborate with Enterprise Architects to conceptualize, document, and deploy scalable, maintainable, and robust client-side software architectures for global web products.
  • React UI Component Craftsmanship: Architect and build clean, performant, and deeply interactive user-facing interfaces cleanly natively utilizing React and advanced modern JavaScript.
  • SDLC Lifecycle Execution: Own and drive the end-to-end task roadmap within the software development life cycle, converting abstract functional prerequisites into structured, optimized application logic.
  • Performance Instrumentation and Monitoring: Integrate and manage system observability utilities (e.g., New Relic), tracking production application rendering metrics and catching client-side bugs proactively.
  • Automated Testing and Validation: Formulate and write automated testing scripts, maintaining rigorous coverage across code validation and verification frameworks to safeguard release hygiene.
  • System Documentation and Maintenance: Maintain detailed developer-facing architectural logs and monitor live frontend assets, ensuring all client applications stay perfectly updated with modern web standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of verified professional history operating as a backend, frontend, or full-stack software engineer inside an agile product framework.
  • Mandatory Framework Specialization: At least 5 years of direct, practical hands-on experience specializing in modern JavaScript and native development with the React application framework.
  • Proven capability writing highly optimized script architectures, managing code debugging tools, and prioritizing development deliverables independently with minimal supervision.
  • Functional familiarity working with enterprise-grade application monitoring infrastructure (such as New Relic) and automated unit testing tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and logical attributes, with cross-platform literacy operating with various terminal environments (Linux, macOS, Windows).
  • Educational Track: Possesses a minimum of a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a highly related technical field of study.
  • Location Context: Position operates under strict remote geographic parameters open exclusively to qualified frontend engineers residing permanently within Pakistan.

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

  • Prior experience building transaction dashboards, financial reporting tables, or embedded checkout systems for high-traffic FinTech applications.
  • Familiarity with state optimization patterns across overlapping web client applications or alternative JavaScript framework matrices (e.g., Next.js, Vue, or Angular).

What We Offer

  • Attractive Technical FinTech Compensation Blueprint: A highly competitive, experience-calibrated base salary tailored precisely to reward elite software architecture depth within the Pakistani tech market.
  • Full remote workspace flexibility, empowering you to scale pan-African digital financial systems from your optimized home office anywhere in Pakistan.
  • Comprehensive employee benefits portfolio encompassing a structured pension scheme, extensive health insurance lines, and wellness support features.
  • An immersive, learning-centric engineering community focused heavily on knowledge sharing, regular technical talks, and shared software experiments.
  • A flat corporate landscape that puts people first, where your architectural opinions carry measurable weight and all development contributions have a visible global impact.
