Senior Engineering Manager

About the Role: Docker is a globally distributed, remote-first team building tools that define how software gets built and delivered. We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the sbx team, building Docker's sandboxing product that lets AI agents run safely and at scale with strong isolation and enterprise-grade governance built in.

What You'll Do

• Lead a team of engineers building and scaling the sbx product and own the customer experience from first run to enterprise deployment.
• Drive the product roadmap and ensure it reflects what customers actually need.
• Align the team with business and product goals by working closely with product management.
• Ensure predictable delivery and operational excellence of the components the team ships.
• Hire, retain talent, and hold a high bar for engineering excellence.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience managing a high-performing team and 5+ years of experience as a software developer.
• Track record of shipping products that succeeded in the market with a strong instinct for UX.
• Experience working with enterprise customers or building products with enterprise requirements (security, governance, compliance).
• Comfortable with a high degree of autonomy and the ability to work remotely across time zones.

• Base salary range of $197,650 – $318,250 per year plus equity.
