Kestra is a unified orchestration platform that consolidates data pipelines, infrastructure operations, scheduled scripts, business processes, and AI agents into a single execution environment with shared governance and history. Over 4 billion workflows run annually on Kestra, serving 10+ Fortune 500 companies. The open-source project boasts 27,000+ GitHub stars and 2,000+ plugins, remaining fully open-source under Apache 2.0. In March 2026, Kestra secured a $25M Series A funding round.

The Role

Kestra is hiring a Senior Demand Generation Manager to lead the program layer that converts product and market signals into enterprise pipeline. This is a senior individual contributor role reporting to the Head of Marketing, collaborating closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Developer Advocacy, and Growth Engineering.

Growth Engineering provides a pre-built signal layer from product usage, community activity, web/GitHub activity, and enrichment data. Your role is to leverage this layer to create a named target-account list and design programs that convert it into enterprise pipeline. This is a marketer who automates and experiments on modern, AI-native tooling—not a role for building or maintaining infrastructure.

You’ll join a small, senior enterprise marketing team where each person owns a distinct function, such as demand and campaigns, positioning, competitive strategy, customer evidence, and technical proof.

Kestra’s unique advantage lies in converting its strong open-source community into enterprise pipeline, requiring a non-traditional demand generation approach.

What You'll Own

The demand plan and the number

  • Build and own the demand-generation plan against Kestra’s enterprise go-to-market strategy, establishing program and pipeline targets in partnership with the Head of Marketing and Sales.
  • Build Kestra’s enterprise account-tiering model, translating product, community, and firmographic signals into target segments and account priorities, and align with Sales on the accounts that matter most.
  • Bring today’s outbound campaigns under one coordinated demand strategy, ensuring programs across Marketing, Growth Engineering, and Business Development share target accounts, a common thesis, and measurable outcomes.
  • Partner with Growth Engineering to identify open-source deployments showing production-scale, multi-user, enterprise-shaped usage, and build programs that turn these signals into enterprise conversations.
  • Design multi-threaded account programs that engage multiple members of the buying group across technical, operational, and economic roles, moving accounts from initial technical interest toward qualified enterprise opportunities.

Multi-channel programs

  • Design and run integrated campaigns across paid media, content, email, webinars, and events, coordinated toward pipeline rather than run as one-offs.
  • Build and run paid acquisition directly in platforms like LinkedIn Ads and Google Ads, owning targeting, creative testing, and spend pacing. This is a lean budget you are expected to optimize, not an agency retainer.
  • Shape account-based and competitive-displacement strategy for market-shift moments, briefing the outbound automation engine and wrapping it with multi-channel air cover.
  • Own the program execution behind Kestra’s flagship legacy-displacement campaign, including targeting, channels, sequencing, budget, and cadence. Product Marketing owns the campaign brief and customer proof; you own how the program reaches and progresses target accounts.
  • Own the campaign assets, including landing pages, nurture copy, and conversion paths. Content marketing and customer evidence are handled by peers, whom you brief.
  • Coordinate with Business Development on contact-level outreach to ensure account-level programs and individual outreach reinforce each other.

Nurture and conversion

  • Build nurture and lifecycle programs that move prospects and self-serve users toward enterprise conversations.
  • Improve conversion across the funnel, from first touch to qualified opportunity.

Measurement

  • Measure at the account level, not the lead level. A qualified account requires at least three people across two or more buying roles engaged within a defined window.
  • Instrument every program to tie its contribution to pipeline, working from the attribution and data foundation maintained by Growth Engineering.
  • Report in terms of qualified accounts created, pipeline generated and progressed, and program efficiency for quarterly business reviews.
  • Own demand-generation program budget and channel allocation, moving investment toward what produces pipeline.
  • Manage agencies and partners where they extend your reach.

What We're Looking For

  • Typically 6+ years in demand generation, growth, or account-based marketing in B2B SaaS, with direct ownership of pipeline targets and outcomes.
  • Proven experience across the demand stack: multi-channel campaigns (paid, content, email, events), lifecycle and nurture, ABM strategy, and marketing-to-sales handoff.
  • Hands-on paid media experience, including building and running campaigns in LinkedIn Ads and Google Ads, with the ability to explain changes, their rationale, and their impact on acquisition efficiency, account engagement, or pipeline.
  • A builder who automates and treats every campaign as an experiment, comfortable partnering with a technical growth-engineering function rather than owning the tooling end-to-end.
  • Analytically rigorous, pulling your own data, building your own views, and interrogating pipeline reports rather than forwarding them.
  • Experience working with AI as a senior marketer would with a capable junior: brief it, review results, ship what’s good, and fix what isn’t. Verify every claim against a primary source before it reaches a prospect.
  • Familiarity with developer-led, open-source, or product-led motions—or the curiosity and adaptability to master one quickly.
  • Ability to operate independently with urgency and ownership in fast-scaling environments where processes are still being defined.
  • Genuine respect for the open-source community. Kestra’s open-source users are not a lead list, and the credibility of the open-source project is foundational to the enterprise business. Nothing you build should gate or diminish the free product.

We know strong candidates often hold back unless they match every line. If you meet most of this, we’d like to hear from you.

What Makes This Role Worth Your Time

  • Real ownership from day one: enterprise demand programs, ABM, nurture, and campaign performance, with direct access to leadership and real influence on go-to-market strategy.
  • A signal and enrichment layer already built and maintained for you, drawn from product usage, community activity, web and GitHub activity, and enrichment data. Most companies our size do not have this.
  • A build-not-buy culture where you’re expected to automate and experiment on modern, AI-native tooling.
  • A genuinely differentiated go-to-market: converting one of the strongest open-source communities in orchestration into enterprise revenue.
  • A platform in production at enterprises that cannot afford downtime.
  • A senior individual contributor (IC) seat that stays one. Scope grows with the company, and at our size, we are not building management layers.

Kestra is a highly disruptive, open-source orchestration platform fundamentally designed to unify data, infrastructure, and AI workflows for modern engineering teams. Founded by Emmanuel Darras and Ludovic Dehon, the company operates as the ultimate declarative control plane for the entire enterprise stack. Under the hood, Kestra bypasses clunky legacy glue code by allowing developers to write workflows in YAML and seamlessly integrate with over 1,200 plugins—from Kubernetes and Docker to Python, dbt, and Airbyte. Their primary target audience spans aggressive data engineers, platform engineers, and software developers who desperately need to automate complex pipelines, manage CI/CD rollouts, and operationalize AI without production chaos. What sets Kestra apart in the fiercely competitive orchestration landscape is its "adopt once, standardize everywhere" philosophy and massive scalability; backed by over $36M in funding from visionary founders (Datadog, Airbyte, dbt Labs), it empowers organizations to completely transform fragmented, siloed operations into a governed, API-first, event-driven powerhouse.
