Position Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical, growth-focused Senior Data Scientist to join our distributed Analytics team. Reporting directly to the Analytics Manager, you will serve as a cross-functional strategic partner to Product, Growth Marketing, and Customer Experience units to drive evidence-based decision-making. Moving far beyond traditional static reporting, you will take absolute ownership of unorganized behavioral datasets, building predictive models, mapping usage archetypes, and designing rigorous product experimentation frameworks. This hands-on role demands a technical champion with an ownership mindset who can comfortably translate complex statistical distributions into actionable recommendations for C-suite executives and non-technical stakeholders alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Lifecycle Behavioral Engineering: Analyze multi-layered user interaction metrics across the customer lifecycle to identify long-term adoption trends, churn risks, and engagement archetypes.
- Product Experimentation Governance: Design, orchestrate, and critique advanced statistical measurement strategies and A/B test variations to isolate product performance signals from noisy datasets.
- Predictive Dataset Architecture: Build and optimize scalable machine learning models and data sets to improve customer segmentation, lifecycle marketing rules, and business outcome forecasting.
- Pragmatic AI Implementation: Deploy practical machine learning algorithms and AI techniques to settle internal analytical roadblocks and optimize customer-facing system capabilities.
- Data Infrastructure Partnership: Team up directly with Data Engineering squads to systematically improve the structural quality, storage accuracy, and overall accessibility of core metrics warehouses.
- Strategic Insight Articulation: Synthesize dense statistics into unambiguous, visual growth guidelines, making data approachable, reliable, and entirely clear for Product Managers and marketers.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of verified professional history running Data Science, statistical modeling, or behavioral analytics portfolios natively inside a B2B SaaS or product-led company.
- Deep technical mastery running large-scale data manipulation, exploratory analysis, and modeling loops using SQL and Python.
- Hands-on production-grade history operating within modern cloud-native data warehouse platforms (such as Snowflake or BigQuery).
- Strong foundational command over statistical inference, predictive modeling algorithms, and multi-variable product experimentation techniques.
- Outstanding interpersonal and stakeholder alignment skills, with a proven track record of moving projects forward independently despite incomplete requirements.
- Location Context: 100% remote-first operational infrastructure flexibility restricted exclusively to qualified data scientists permanently residing within the Americas remote region.
Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)
- Prior experience designing data transformations and tracking modeling dependency trees using dbt (data build tool).
- Familiarity handling massive messaging telemetry data, push-notification logistics, or growth marketing analytical funnels.
What We Offer
- Targeted Annual Base Salary: $140,000 – $150,000 USD, subject to local market rate adjustments.
- 100% comprehensive medical, dental, vision, mental health, and supplemental insurance premium coverage for you and your dependent family members.
- 16 weeks of fully paid parental leave benefits alongside a highly flexible, unlimited personal time off (PTO) vacation structure.
- Dedicated financial stipends to optimize your remote work home office configuration and support health/wellness expenditures.
- A structured, annual professional development budget to fund certifications, technical workshops, and continuous lifecycle learning.
- A completely transparent, human-centered virtual interview track conducted over Zoom, respecting candidate integrity at every phase.
