This role is part of the team of Customer Engineers in Professional Services, and we’re seeking highly talented individuals to join and grow our team. This is the intersection where the product has to meet customer needs and create value.
The Senior Data Analytics Engineer leads the design, implementation, and optimisation of our data infrastructure. With a focus on data engineering, the role spans Microsoft Fabric (to be introduced), on-premise SQL, and Dynamics 365 (Dataverse). You will build and maintain scalable pipelines, integrate disparate datasets, and ensure high-quality, secure, and accessible data. Additionally, you will be able to provide advanced analytics outputs through Power BI dashboards, translating complex datasets into actionable insights for stakeholders. As a senior member of the team, you will define best practices and guide adoption of Microsoft Fabric ensuring the organisation has a robust, future-ready data platform.
WHAT WILL YOU DO
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of ETL and data pipelines across multiple platforms, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Define and implement best practices for data integration, transformation, quality, security, and governance.
- Manage data migrations, archival processes, and integrations across various systems and databases.
- Create and maintain advanced data visualizations, dashboards, and analytical models (e.g., Power BI or equivalent) to support business insights and decision-making.
- Lead collaboration with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to define data requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and own delivery of high-quality outcomes. - Implement and configure platform components and new features for both new and existing clients.
- Set up and maintain unified data models across disparate data sources, ensuring consistency and accessibility.
- Regularly engage with customers to gather requirements, scope and prioritize incoming technical requests, and provide hands-on implementation support.
- Independently troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, taking full ownership of system performance and reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, continuously improving system performance and reliability.

- Maintain detailed documentation and build internal knowledge bases for configurations, workflows, and best practices.
- Mentor and support team members, fostering technical growth and adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to provide actionable feedback that enhances the platform and customer experience.
- Promote and uphold Boldr’s values by supporting cross-team collaboration, contributing to a positive culture, and operating with integrity and purpose.
YOU HAVE…
- BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Information Management or similar
- 3-5+ years in a technical role that involves managing and manipulating large data sets, such as ETL, Data Warehousing, Analytics, Data Science etc.
- 6+ years in a client-facing role that involves being a point-of-contact for technical and non-technical users
- Extensive experience in SQL Server, ETL/data pipelines, and data engineering in hybrid on-premise / cloud environments.
- Required: Hands-on experience designing and operating data solutions within Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, Data Pipelines, or Data Engineering workloads
- Familiarity with scripting/programming languages for data processing (Python, SQL scripts, etc.).
- Proficiency in Power BI, including data modelling, DAX, and advanced dashboard design.
- Knowledge of data governance, quality, security, and compliance best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; able to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have:
- Working knowledge of Java and/or Scala
- Marketing technology industry & relevant vendor knowledge
- Experience with Dynamics 365 / Dataverse data integration.
- Experience in implementing large-scale data pipelines and optimisation strategies.
- Exposure to business intelligence strategy, metadata management, and advanced analytics techniques.
- Experience leading technical initiatives.
