About the Role: Marqeta is on a mission to change the way money moves. We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) organization. You will work closely with accounting, sales, product, and data science teams to optimize forecast processes, automate workflows, and provide actionable insights for financial reliability and scalability.

What You'll Do

  • Collect and analyze structured and unstructured financial and business data from sources like Snowflake, Intacct ERP, and SFDC.
  • Develop data collection tools, models, and analytics reporting to provide insights into business performance.
  • Own data analysis and modeling work to drive high-quality forecasting and variance analysis for customers.
  • Assess and support internal customers' needs for analytical support, such as customer/transaction profitability analysis.
  • Help prepare data for management and investor communications and participate in system integration and data governance initiatives.

What You Bring

  • 3-5 years of experience working with SQL and relational data, especially with large-scale data and advanced SQL functions (window functions, complex joins).
  • Solid grasp of financial and accounting concepts with experience in Excel, ERPs, and BI tools.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake and advanced functionality (e.g., Snowflake Machine Learning) is a plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree within IT, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.

  • Base salary range: $100,000 - $147,000 USD per year (depending on US location tier), plus annual bonuses.
