The Senior Client Delivery Manager is a senior, client-facing operational consulting role responsible for delivering advanced operational insight, strategic guidance, and executive-level delivery for assigned client accounts. The Senior Client Delivery Manager operates as a trusted advisor to client executives and internal senior leaders, translating operational performance into strategic narratives, risk mitigation strategies, and forward-looking recommendations. This role leads complex client scenarios, shapes account-level strategy, and partners closely with the Client Delivery Director on escalations, strategic planning, and enterprise-level delivery—without formal people management responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently lead operational delivery for high-complexity, high-impact client accounts.
- Serve as a strategic operational advisor to client executives and senior leadership.
- Translate complex operational data, trends, root cause analysis results and risks into executive-ready insights and recommendations.
- Develop forward-looking operational strategies aligned to client objectives and enterprise capabilities.
- Proactively identify systemic issues, emerging risks, and optimization opportunities across the client lifecycle.
- Guide clients through complex operational changes, performance improvement initiatives, and evolving service needs.
- Own complex issue analysis and resolution strategy for assigned client accounts.
- Lead advanced root cause analysis efforts across cross-functional teams.
- Frame escalations with clear articulation of risk, impact, options, and recommended path forward.
- Partner closely with the Client Delivery Director on high-risk, sensitive, or enterprise-impacting issues.
- Monitor performance trends and assess effectiveness of remediation strategies over time.
- Ensure consistent, professional, and transparent communication with clients during issue resolution.
- Lead director-level operational reviews, strategic touchpoints, and complex client discussions.
- Develop and deliver polished, insight-driven materials, presentations, and narratives.
- Anticipate client questions and prepare data-backed responses and recommendations.
- Establish credibility and trust with senior client stakeholders through consistent value delivery.
- Lead internal account strategy discussions, aligning stakeholders on priorities, risks, and action plans.
- Advocate for client needs while balancing enterprise standards, scalability, and operational realities.
- Provide informal guidance and mentorship to Client Delivery Specialists and Managers.
- Act as a subject matter expert for complex workflows, client scenarios, and operational challenges.
- Contribute to the development and evolution of Client Delivery frameworks, methodologies, and standards.
- Identify recurring themes and systemic issues across the client portfolio and recommend enterprise-level improvements.
- Share insights, lessons learned, and best practices to elevate team effectiveness.
- Support onboarding, training, and knowledge transfer initiatives within the Client Delivery function.
- Partner with leadership on initiatives related to process optimization, change management, and operational innovation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required. Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Operations, or a related field preferred.
- 4–6 years of experience in healthcare operations, revenue cycle, client-facing roles, or related environments
- Deep understanding of operational workflows, data interpretation, and client support models
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey operational information clearly
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage client relationships and operational discussions
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insight
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including client-facing presentation experience
- Proven ability to influence without authority in cross-functional environments
- Timely and regular attendance.
