Position Overview

We are seeking a highly autonomous, code-fluent, and analytically rigorous Senior Business Analyst to accelerate the growth, user acquisition, and scaling efficiencies of our core payment products under a permanent, full-time remote configuration open across the United Kingdom (with a localized corporate node in London). Operating at the vital juncture of Product, Growth Marketing, and Data Engineering, you will take absolute analytical ownership over our commercial acquisition funnels and lifecycle telemetry. Shifting completely away from routine non-regulated data transcription loops, superficial dashboard formatting, or entry-level customer support tracking, you will operate an active multi-variant conversion experimentation, statistical cluster modeling, and programmatic data exploration laboratory. Partnering directly beside strategic product managers, database architects, and commercial executives, you will translate abstract transactional anomalies into high-leverage product-shaping insights. This position requires an analytics veteran with 3–4 years of professional history who handles massive data matrices fluidly natively using Data Analyst, SQL, and Business Intelligence primitives, builds interactive self-service systems, and manages multi-stakeholder dependencies cleanly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Growth Analytics Governance: Drive, orchestrate, and optimize end-to-end telemetry across the entire growth product development lifecycle—from initial data requirement gathering and opportunity sizing to live performance monitoring natively utilizing Data Analyst primitives.
  • High-Performance Database Querying: Write, profile, and optimize complex data aggregation scripts natively deploying SQL best practices to parse billions of financial transaction records under pressure.
  • Self-Service Tooling Instrumentation: Design, calibrate, and scale interactive, automated enterprise dashboards natively leveraging Business Intelligence software like Tableau or Looker to provide real-time visibility into product KPIs.
  • Statistical Experimentation Modeling: Build, execute, and evaluate rigorous digital product experiments, applying advanced multi-variant matrices, A/B testing models, and predictive analytics to discover growth opportunities.
  • Advanced Mathematical Analytics: Formulate and deploy advanced computational structures—encompassing user clustering, customer retention curves, and supervised learning algorithms—to resolve complex financial product challenges.
  • Cross-Functional Technical Synthesis: Act as a trusted, strategic translator between technology cells and commercial sales, guiding growth and marketing squads through systematic problem discoveries.
  • Product Management Advisory: Synthesize highly convoluted database records into clean, scannable insights, delivering actionable strategic roadmaps that directly shape payment tool features as the company scales.
  • Data Quality Preservation: Partner next to data engineering squads to maintain rigorous documentation, data mapping standards, and data schema integrity across corporate analytical models.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3–4 years of proven, successful professional experience operating within a quantitative analysis, business intelligence, data science, or closely matching tech-driven corporate optimization capacity (excluding academic and internship settings).
  • Documented analytical pedigree achieved inside highly rigorous programming-heavy environments (such as tier-1 strategic consulting firms, investment banking units, or high-velocity global technology platforms).
  • Expert SQL and Analytics Command: Meticulous hands-on tracking history writing complex transactional queries, window functions, and database filters natively using SQL (tested rigorously during our interview process).
  • Production-grade operational literacy writing and refactoring statistical data processing scripts natively in Python, with extensive familiarity utilizing ecosystem applications like **Pandas, SciPy, and Jupyter/iPython notebooks**.
  • Outstanding written and verbal presentation communication strengths in English, with an established ability to collaborate across multi-disciplinary engineering, design, and commercial teams.
  • Location Context: Position operates under remote parameters open exclusively to qualified full-stack data analysis and financial product authorities residing permanently within the United Kingdom (with proximity to London).

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

  • Prior platform or consulting history building automated growth loops explicitly inside the FinTech, digital banking, payment gateway processing, merchant acquiring, or consumer micro-credit sectors.
  • Direct operational familiarity manipulating multi-tenant data pipelines, automated ETL verification layers, or modern product conversion software.
  • An adaptable, systems-oriented persona characterized by deep intellectual curiosity, a people-first mindset, and an eager drive to engineer scalable solutions that maximize customer impact.

What We Offer

  • Premium United Kingdom FinTech Data Leadership Remuneration: An highly attractive annual target cash base salary package calibrated precisely to your individual systems pedigree and analytical velocity, supplemented by an annual corporate performance bonus.
  • 100% remote workspace infrastructure freedom anywhere within the United Kingdom, allowing you to bypass physical traffic commute blockages.
  • Macro Financial Platform Influence: Elite professional checkpoints built by single-handedly blueprinting the conversion models, experimentation graphs, and self-service dashboards backing a $250 billion processing infrastructure.
  • Comprehensive physical preservation benefits, including a corporate pension program, comprehensive group health insurance, and structured well-being allowances.
  • Access to an outstanding global tech environment with a heavy emphasis on proactive professional development, knowledge sharing, regular internal technical talks, and an inclusive startup culture where all voices carry weight.
