Senior Backend Developer (Golang/Python)

At Workana, we are looking for a Senior Backend Developer (Golang/Python) to support our client in the creation and maintenance of the technology stack of their products.

These products allow access to and integration of information from institutions such as social security, taxes, and financial services, guaranteeing secure, scalable, and efficient access.

About the Role:

You will be an active part of the design, development and evolution of critical backend services, working on complex integrations with third parties and ensuring high standards of quality, performance and observability.

Requirements:

• Advanced English B2 Upper (mandatory): You will be working in an international environment.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Backend development.
• Advanced experience in Golang (mandatory) and Python.
• Strong foundation in software engineering principles, clean architecture, and design patterns.
• Proven experience designing, developing and maintaining APIs, and integrating third-party services.
• Proficient in relational database management and knowledge of NoSQL solutions (MongoDB).
• Ability to write efficient queries.
• Understanding indexes, performance, and the use of ORMs such as SQLAlchemy in production environments.
• Experience working with AWS, especially with services such as: Lambda, S3, IAM, EC2 (among others).
• Practical knowledge of observability: Logging, metrics, alerts and monitoring.
• Experience working in collaborative teams, with CI/CD and agile methodologies.
• Analytical and decisive profile, with a pragmatic mindset and the ability to make decisions and trade-offs in real-world scenarios.

Desirable Requirements:

• Knowledge of web scraping.
• Experience in Open Banking or Open Finance.
