Job Description

The Senior Art Business Operations Lead is a delivery-fluent, Business Development (BD)-embedded operations leader responsible for creating and maintaining an accurate operating view of art services capacity, utilization, active work, project wind-downs, and forecasted availability across Create.

Initially focused on North American art studios, the role will expand to other regions and co-development in art resources. It will provide business development, studio leadership, and Create leadership with the visibility needed to understand where work can be placed, where additional demand is needed, which skills are becoming available, and where communication or planning gaps may create revenue, staffing, or delivery risk.

The role will primarily focus on internal transparency, fostering trust, and establishing a clear operating cadence. As that foundation matures, the role will balance its focus between internal operating needs and external partner support across multiple accounts, including RFP responses, staffing and timing questions, partner-facing capability discussions, and production-level coordination. The role is not assigned to a single partner and is not the account owner, studio resource manager, or day-to-day producer - it is responsible for cross-studio visibility, demand/supply alignment, communication, early risk and opportunity identification, and escalation.

Requirements

  • Capacity & Availability Intelligence: Maintain real-time studio-level visibility into art headcount, active assignments, and tiered availability (0–90+ days) across disciplines, locations, and confidence levels to prevent bench risk and underutilization.
  • Pipeline & Demand Alignment: Track major engagements, ramp-ups, and project transitions, translating upcoming art availability into actionable demand signals for Business Development (BD) and growth opportunities.
  • BD & Studio Operating Cadence: Establish standard definitions, data ownership, and a repeatable cadence between BD, studio leads, and regional leadership to streamline demand visibility and reduce urgent staffing requests.
  • Opportunity Routing & Pursuit Support: Triage inbound opportunities against real-time capacity and skills to recommend optimal delivery setups (dedicated, co-dev, or hybrid) and support RFPs with accurate staffing scenarios.
  • Cross-Studio & Partner Integration: Expand availability tracking into co-development studios, identify cross-deployment options, and advise partner teams to ensure capacity and timing statements remain grounded in reality.
  • Continuous Improvement & Escalation: Spot data, timing, and routing bottlenecks early, coordinate clear resolution paths, and implement process updates to protect revenue and delivery.
  • Leadership Reporting & Operating Strategy: Deliver concise reporting on utilization, supply/demand gaps, and risk, while building a scalable operational model that expands across regions without creating administrative bottlenecks.

Role Boundaries

This role:

  • Owns cross-studio capacity visibility, operating cadence, demand/supply alignment, escalation routing, and the translation of art services supply into BD action.
  • Serves as the operational bridge between studios and BD, and a horizontal partner-enablement resource across multiple accounts.

This role does not:

  • Manage studio staffing or make staffing decisions.
  • Own any client relationships, management, deal strategy, commercial negotiations, or account strategy.
  • Serve as the day-to-day producer on projects.
  • Act as a gatekeeper or centralized approval layer.

Benefits

  • Benefits package including Medical, Dental and Vision
  • Vacation and sick leave
  • Life & Disability coverage
  • Paid Basic and AD&D insurance
  • Voluntary Legal, Accident, Critical Illness and Hospital Indemnity coverage
  • Voluntary FSA
  • 401(k) retirement plan
