Senior Android Engineer

About the Role: Fingerprint empowers developers to stop online fraud at the source. We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer with a strong background in Native Android development to join our Mobile team. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of mobile engineering and security, where you will help shape the future of mobile device intelligence and fraud prevention.

What You'll Do

• Lead the development and evolution of Android products, including the Fingerprint Android PRO SDK and OSS SDK.
• Design and implement detection signals to improve performance, stability, and reliability.
• Build new features and implement UI screens from Figma designs using Jetpack Compose.
• Research and prototype new methodologies that enhance fraud prevention capabilities and technical edge.
• Work cross-functionally with backend engineers, PMs, and security researchers to deliver impactful features.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of hands-on Android development experience in a senior-level capacity.
• Proficiency in Kotlin, the Android SDK, and hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose for UI development.
• Strong foundation in Information Security and experience building native Android applications and SDKs from the ground up.
• Deep understanding of Android internals, system behavior, and experience with C++.
• Bonus: Experience with GitHub Actions, obfuscation techniques, and a strong open-source contribution history.
