Position Overview

We are seeking a highly autonomous, code-literate, and infrastructure-fluent Senior AI Product Builder - Transportation Technologies to join our distributed global product team under a permanent, full-time remote layout based in India. This is not a traditional Product Management role focusing on high-level narrative documentation, static slide compilation, or purely relationship management; you are a hands-on tech builder. You will own the full engineering loop—from AI-augmented discovery and state-machine specification to generating functional codebase repositories, promoting production Pull Requests (PRs), and tracking telemetry outcomes. Shifting completely away from routine standalone data entry transcription, basic website layout theme formatting, or standard user support ticketing, you will direct an active technical logistics, carrier API interface integration, and automated routing laboratory—operating inside a nimble, AI-native pod alongside an AI Engineer, a Prompt Engineer, and a Product Designer. This position requires an engineering-adjacent product authority with 7+ years of history who coordinates platform codebases fluidly natively using Project Management paradigms, leverages advanced toolchains (e.g., Claude Code, Driver.ai, Cursor) to navigate actual repos without engineering translation, parses database structures cleanly, and commits to essential work schedule overlap with US Central Time morning hours (7:00 PM - 9:30 PM IST).

Key Responsibilities

• Full Product Build Loop Ownership: Manage the end-to-end product implementation lifecycles independently—spanning AI-driven customer discovery, code generation, script testing, live PR production releases, and post-launch metric tracking natively utilizing Project Management frameworks.
• AI-Augmented Code Generation & PR Triage: Utilize generative developer toolchains to parse ShipBob’s codebase architectures, evaluate AI-generated software scaffolding for exact correctness, write hyper-precise business rule engines, and directly push production pull requests.
• Technical Contract & Architecture Evaluation: Review, audit, and navigate core data models, service boundaries, and external carrier or merchant API contracts cleanly to ensure code changes fit existing infrastructure bounds without engineering rework.
• Automated Telemetry & Anomaly Analysis: Leverage AI analytics modules at spec time to track core fulfillment performance data, identify merchant usage friction trends, and surface systemic database anomalies.
• Experimentation & Roadmap Governance: Establish explicit experiment hypotheses and quantitative kill thresholds on day-7 rollouts, continuously tuning an active, high-velocity roadmap sorted strictly by business impact and deployment speed.
• Cross-Functional Pod Synchronization: Partner as the lead strategic operator within an AI-native product team, demonstrating deep functional product mastery to align solution layouts with upstream Directors.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• A minimum of 7+ years of proven professional history operating inside a Product Management, Technical Product Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or closely matching quantitative software delivery capacity.
• Mandatory AI Toolchain Literacy: Demonstrated hands-on professional history using advanced developer environments and AI-assisted tooling (such as Claude Code, Driver.ai, Cursor, Replit, or V0) to review, generate, or modify system files.
• Deep Software Engineering Fluency: Verified capability to independently parse database schemas, audit relational data structures, inspect API payloads, and identify when AI-generated code models deviate from the architecture.
• Proven track record writing highly structural specs (incorporating detailed state machines, explicit edge cases, data validation contracts, and explicit business logic rules) that automated tools can act on without manual follow-up loops.
• Supply Chain & Logistics Experience: Direct domain background building solutions within the supply chain, fulfillment operations, transportation tech, carrier integration, or e-commerce infrastructure spaces.
• IST / CST Shift Alignment: Absolute professional flexibility and willingness to maintain daily schedule synchronization with morning US Central Time slots, explicitly working from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM IST (India Standard Time).
• Location Context: Position operates under remote parameters open exclusively to qualified technical product builders residing permanently inside India.

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

• Hands-on working knowledge or basic debugging capability inside modern programming blocks, specifically utilizing TypeScript, React, or Python repositories.
• Functional familiarity operating enterprise-scale Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Order Management Systems (OMS), or distributed freight routing architectures.
• Prior experience guiding legacy software product teams through an organizational transition into an AI-native development model.
