Senior AI Engineer (AI Automation) - India

About the Role: TRM Labs provides blockchain analytics and AI solutions to detect and disrupt crypto-related fraud. We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer (AI Automation) to design and build AI-powered applications and agentic solutions that help our internal teams operate at scale. You will work hands-on with modern AI technologies and operate with a high degree of ownership.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and own full-stack, AI-powered internal applications, including backend services, APIs, and user-facing interfaces.
• Develop custom agentic solutions that leverage state-of-the-art AI models (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) to automate workflows.
• Embed within internal teams to deeply understand their goals and translate needs into technical solutions.
• Own projects end-to-end, including technical design, architecture decisions, delivery, and iteration.
• Continuously evaluate impact, iterating on solutions based on measurable business outcomes.

What You Bring

• 6+ years of full-stack software engineering experience building scalable web applications, services, and APIs.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and/or Python, and comfort working across the stack (React, Postgres/pgvector, Pinecone, Redis).
• Demonstrated curiosity and hands-on experience with AI tools, modern AI models, agentic IDEs, and workflow orchestration tools (n8n).
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Bonus: Experience integrating automated AI Evaluation/Testing/Observability suites (DeepEval, Langfuse/LangSmith).
