Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical, technically accomplished Senior Accountant to join our rapidly expanding global Finance division in a specialized, revenue-focused capacity. In this critical individual contributor seat, you will hold direct ownership of revenue accounting compliance and complex recognition metrics under ASC 606 parameters. Navigating a high-volume SaaS environment characterized by sophisticated enterprise billing models, you will pull and process large, messy datasets from cloud warehouses to construct accurate sub-ledger frameworks. Reporting directly to the Director of Accounting and partnering intimately with cross-functional pods spanning Revenue Operations, Billing, Legal, and Finance Systems, you will translate multi-layered contractual structures into precise general ledger metrics.

Key Responsibilities

  • ASC 606 Revenue Recognition: Lead the technical accounting validation processes for complex enterprise consumer contracts, ensuring precise performance obligation mapping and transactional adjustments under ASC 606 standards.
  • Month-End Close Execution: Drive month-end revenue close cycles, including processing revenue journal entries, executing deferred revenue models, and documenting clear balance sheet memos.
  • SQL Data Warehousing Extraction: Formulate and deploy custom SQL database scripts inside Snowflake data warehouses to pull transactional logs, perform historical variance analyses, and trace data dependencies.
  • Multi-Channel Ledger Reconciliation: Reconcile complex, high-volume transactional flows crossing between billing platforms, gateway processors, and internal systems including NetSuite, Stripe, and Salesforce.
  • Anomalous Data Investigation: Audit database discrepancies, run root-cause analysis loops on structural billing errors, and sync with RevOps teams to implement automated software remediation frameworks.
  • Audit PBC Schedule Production: Prepare specialized PBC schedules, clear accounting policy papers, and supporting financial documentation tailored for rigorous external audit review cycles.
  • Order-to-Cash Process Alignment: Collaborate across cross-departmental groups to advise on optimal contract wording, billing designs, and technical system updates to protect compliance boundaries.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of verified professional history running corporate general ledger systems, with a significant, dedicated focus on enterprise SaaS revenue accounting models.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or an equivalent highly quantitative corporate financial management discipline.
  • Comprehensive, expert-level conceptual command over ASC 606 revenue standards, contract structural evaluation, and deferred recognition logic.
  • Proven capacity to manage and structure highly messy, ambiguous datasets within high-volume commercial software environments.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication mechanics, with the capacity to explain advanced mathematical or compliance deviations to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Location Context: 100% remote-first full-time operational framework optimized for qualified accounting specialists residing permanently anywhere within the United States.

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

  • Possession of a valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or an active registration candidate profile.
  • Prior public accounting experience running corporate audits for high-scale technology or SaaS clients within a premier global firm.
  • Hands-on system proficiency deploying configuration elements within NetSuite enterprise software.
  • Practical competency writing structured queries within SQL environments or navigating data visualization platforms inside cloud data systems like Snowflake.

What We Offer

  • Competitive Compensation Parameters: A stable annualized baseline pay visibility range of $112,600 – $140,800 USD, narrowed during selection based on localized metrics and portfolio qualifications.
  • The exceptional opportunity to take complete, high-autonomy ownership of the revenue close engine driving an industry-leading B2B database.
  • Corporate equity allocations paired with annual company discretionary bonus metrics.
  • Comprehensive health insurance setups offering premium medical, dental, and vision coverages alongside flexible spending choices (HSA/FSA).
  • Robust retirement security matching via a matching corporate 401(k) program, paired with mental wellness benefits, global travel insurance, at least 10 paid public holidays, and a flexible PTO model.
