Senior Accountant

About the Role: Ethena is an AI platform for Compliance, and we're looking for an autonomous Senior Accountant to bring a "faster and smarter" energy to our Finance team. You will own our end-to-end close, act as our in-house technical accounting expert, and help evaluate and deploy the systems we need to scale.

What You'll Do

• Own the Close: Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, producing consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Master SaaS Complexity: Manage the order-to-cash process, customer contracts, invoicing, and revenue recognition.
• Manage Operational Cycles: Take full ownership of day-to-day financial operations, including the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process and vendor management.
• Automate Everything: Find creative ways to use AI and automation tools to make financial operations faster and more accurate.
• Collaborate & Mentor: Coach one accounting team member and partner cross-functionally with Sales to keep revenue data clean.

What You Bring

• A few years of experience in a high-growth tech environment (SaaS experience is a major plus).
• A solid grasp of US GAAP and experience going through the audit process.
• A "scrappy" mindset with an interest in getting things done over over-engineering processes.
• An AI-forward approach to eliminate manual data entry.
• Impeccable ethical compass, high trust, integrity, and the ability to balance speed with accuracy.
