You’ll help deliver a range of medical communications projects, working closely with clients and cross-functional teams to keep programs moving from brief through delivery. With support from senior Client Services colleagues, you’ll manage projects, build strong client relationships, and ensure work is delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

This position is remote, with the potential for travel for client meetings and onsite events.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage publications and medical affairs projects from briefing through delivery, keeping timelines, budgets, milestones, and quality on track.
  • Build strong client relationships and develop an understanding of client products, priorities, and strategy.
  • Coordinate with Scientific Services and other cross-functional teams to ensure smooth, effective project delivery.
  • Manage project finances, including estimates, tracking, reconciliation, and contributing to forecasting and account financial targets.
  • Monitor project progress, proactively identifying risks and working with senior colleagues to resolve challenges.
  • Informally mentor and support junior Client Services colleagues as needed.
  • Develop your understanding of the client’s business and identify opportunities to expand support within existing accounts.

About You

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required; Life Sciences or a related discipline is preferred.
  • 3+ years of project or account management experience, ideally within medical communications or the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience supporting scientific publications and/or Medical Affairs programs.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and budgets.
  • Experience with project financial management, including estimates, tracking, reconciliation, and forecasting.
  • A confident communicator with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Veeva and/or iEnvision experience is preferred.
  • Collaborative, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced agency environment.

Nucleus Global

View Company Profile

Nucleus Global (operating under nucleusglobal.com, legally Nucleus Global Limited) is the premier, enterprise-grade global medical communications network, scientific affairs platform, and multi-channel healthcare stakeholder engagement engine engineered to act as the definitive communication layer, evidence-generation interface, and scientific publication infrastructure for world-leading pharmaceutical companies, fast-growing biotechnology firms, and global medical device manufacturers. Founded in 1986 in a modest London basement by visionary Stephen Cameron, the corporation completely eliminates the systemic operational friction of scientific data dissemination—characterized by complex international compliance guidelines, fragmented peer-to-peer educational outreach, and highly dense clinical research text—by translating intricate life sciences discoveries into clear, accessible, and high-impact medical stories. Moving far beyond traditional advertising agency setups or general public relations operations, Nucleus Global natively integrates rigorous medical writing, high-science event management, strategic publications planning, key opinion leader (KOL) engagement mapping, and digital omnichannel health strategy into a single high-availability global services framework. Under its overarching structural network, the company operates a specialized family of dedicated internal agencies—including Medical Action Communications, Articulate Science, ClinicalConnections, SciMentum, and Health Interactions—each tailoring distinct promotional or non-promotional medical affairs strategies to specialized therapeutic categories such as oncology, rare diseases, and virology. Originally acquired by private equity-backed network Huntsworth in 2020, Nucleus Global now operates as a core cornerstone of Inizio Medical, the global powerhouse division formed through the high-profile merger of Ashfield and Huntsworth under Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R). With an elite operational workforce exceeding 750 deep scientific, medical, and digital communication professionals across international regions, the corporation runs highly localized and high-scale operational hubs spanning the United Kingdom, the United States, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region. What sets Nucleus Global apart is its absolute commitment to combining a science-first ethos with sophisticated digital execution frameworks; by seamlessly bridging the gap between rigorous regulatory requirements and creative, multi-modal clinical storytelling, the corporation remains a definitive global benchmark for enterprise medical communications and healthcare lifecycle transformation.
