Position Overview
We are seeking a highly autonomous, commercially aggressive, and multilingual Senior Account Director, APAC to lead our next phase of regional growth under a permanent, full-time remote framework open exclusively to qualified candidates based in Singapore. Serving as both a core territory builder and an elite enterprise closer, you will step up to claim absolute top-of-funnel pipeline generation, complex multi-stakeholder contract design, and regional net-new logo closing accountability across Singapore, Hong Kong, and premium APAC markets. Shifting entirely away from routine account maintenance tasks, basic client relationship check-ins, or reactive customer helpdesk ticket routing, you will direct an active commercial discovery, business case validation, and regulatory compliance sales laboratory. This position requires a RegTech sales authority with 10+ years of enterprise SaaS experience who navigates intricate banking buying committees fluidly natively using Sales Representative paradigms, leverages our existing regional customer references cleanly to build immediate executive trust, coordinates complex procurement and legal cycles systematically, and delivers tailored AI-driven value propositions confidently to secure recurring software revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities
- APAC Pipeline Generation & Hunting: Command the top-of-funnel acquisition engine for target APAC territories, designing comprehensive territory playbooks and hunting net-new enterprise opportunities natively utilizing Sales Representative frameworks.
- Enterprise Contract Closing Discipline: Lead the full, complex software sales cycle from initial discovery and qualification loops through business case creation, price modeling, legal review, and final deal closure.
- Reference Logo Utilization: Leverage Hawk 10+ referenceable regional client logos to accelerate pipeline build velocity, establishing clear, trust-based entry points across equivalent financial institutions.
- Complex Committee Navigation: Navigate enterprise buying structures seamlessly—building strong strategic consensus across multi-stakeholder corporate lines including Compliance, Risk Management, Fraud Analytics, Legal, and Procurement leads.
- Cross-Functional Value Engineering: Partner cross-functionally with internal Pre-Sales and Product cells to configure compelling, custom solution demos and proof-of-concept narratives for discerning financial buyers.
- CRM Data Hygiene Governance: Maintain accurate pipeline telemetry, forecast milestones, and risk visibility maps within the corporate CRM to update executive sales leadership regularly.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- A minimum of 10+ years of proven professional history operating inside an enterprise B2B software, SaaS, RegTech, FinTech, fraud prevention, or financial technology software sales role.
- Mandatory Hunting Credentials: Demonstrated history of success as an individual contributor hunter with a verified track record building net-new pipelines and closing complex enterprise accounts.
- Granular experience selling software platforms directly to banks, regulated financial institutions, international payment processors, or fintech networks.
- Bilingual Language Fluency: Complete professional fluency in written and verbal English AND Cantonese is rigidly required to anchor regional client expansions across Singapore and Hong Kong.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly across broader APAC regions for synchronized client workshops and executive stakeholder alignments.
- Location Context: Position operates under localized remote guidelines open exclusively to qualified enterprise sales executives residing permanently inside Singapore.
Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)
- Conversational or professional proficiency in Mandarin is highly valued to enhance regional financial institution coverage.
