Salesforce Administrator

The Salesforce Administrator keeps our Salesforce instance running smoothly and continuously improves it. You will handle day-to-day administration, build automation using Salesforce’s declarative tools, and collaborate directly with sales, service, and marketing teams to translate their needs into functional configurations. This is a hands-on configuration role where you will deeply understand how the business utilizes Salesforce and shape the platform accordingly.

Your Impact:

• Administer Salesforce daily: manage user setup, profiles, roles, permission sets, and license management.
• Configure the platform using declarative tools: create custom fields and objects, validation rules, page layouts, record types, and Flows.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide teams with self-service insights.
• Gather requirements from sales, service, and marketing stakeholders and translate them into effective configurations.
• Ensure data quality through deduplication, imports, exports using Data Loader, and maintaining clean records as the business grows.
• Install, configure, and support AppExchange packages and third-party tools integrated with Salesforce.
• Manage releases through sandboxes, document changes for QA, and support user acceptance testing.
• Write and maintain documentation to ensure organizational clarity and continuity.
• Train users and support adoption across all teams.

About You:

• Salesforce Certified Administrator required.
• 2 to 4 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with hands-on ownership of an organization, not just ticket support.
• Proficient in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Comfortable building and troubleshooting multi-step automation.
• Experienced in data handling, confident with Data Loader, and capable of cleaning and preparing data for import.
• Able to build reports and dashboards independently.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical constraints to non-technical stakeholders and push back on problematic requests.
• Excellent documentation skills—you write things down.
• UK work authorization required; no sponsorship available.
• Nice to have:
• Salesforce Platform Administrator II certification (previously called Advanced Administrator).
• Experience in a business that has grown through acquisition, integrating multiple systems or organizations.
• Exposure to document generation or contract tools such as Conga.
• Experience supporting a business with both direct and partner sales channels.
• Experience working with an offshore or distributed development team.
