About Taylor & Francis: Taylor & Francis Group (taylorandfrancis.com) is an industry-defining global academic publisher and a cornerstone division of Informa PLC, a leading FTSE 100 international business intelligence, knowledge, and event infrastructure network listed on the London Stock Exchange. We produce top-tier, peer-reviewed scientific journals, research books, and highly sophisticated digital reference platforms that expand thinking, foster human progress, and promote discovery worldwide. Operating with open minds and commercial integrity, we equip global researchers, academic institutions, and corporate professionals with the elite platform required to share groundbreaking ideas and reach their highest potential.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and relationship-driven Sales Executive to join our APAC Online Resources sales division under a permanent, full-time home-based remote framework within Indonesia. Operating as our core regional market strategist, you will step up to claim direct commercial strategy execution, revenue growth, and institutional pipeline accountability across the Indonesian educational and corporate research sectors. Shifting completely away from administrative office data logging, basic customer support ticketing, or promotional text copywriting, you will run an active consultative business-to-business discovery, channel agent optimization, and in-person institutional procurement laboratory—partnering face-to-face with university library directors, research agents, cross-functional product managers, and global commercial leaders. This position requires a consultative account specialist with a preferred 3+ years of professional sales experience who coordinates complex client acquisitions fluidly natively using Sales Representative frameworks, evaluates market opportunities cleanly in both English and Bahasa Indonesia, and directs localized territory expansion plans confidently through frequent regional customer travels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Territory Strategy Execution: Architect, document, and deploy targeted commercial sales strategies optimized for the Indonesian academic and professional digital content markets.
  • Revenue Target Maximization: Manage the complete consultative acquisition lifecycle to meet and consistently exceed defined regional revenue benchmarks and growth goals.
  • Pipeline Hygiene Management: Establish and audit a healthy, structured business pipeline within CRM databases, ensuring long-term forecast accuracy and client retention velocity.
  • Channel Partner Optimization: Cultivate, monitor, and scale deep, high-fidelity commercial relationships with local distribution agents, channel networks, and key institutional stakeholders natively utilizing Sales Representative protocols.
  • Frequent Regional Client Travel: Execute structured in-person client discovery loops, field evaluations, and on-site consultations across Indonesia to surface untapped business vectors and maximize upselling tracks.
  • Cross-Functional Knowledge Transfer: Exchange market data tables, user trend reports, and regional best practices actively with the broader global Taylor & Francis product and APAC commercial squads.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • A preferred minimum of 3 years of verified professional experience operating within a business-to-business (B2B) corporate sales, account management, or consultative client development position.
  • Masterful bilingual communication strengths in both English and Bahasa Indonesia, showcasing absolute fluency across written, remote digital, and in-person presentation channels.
  • Proven capacity to manage independent working schedules, demonstrating sharp professional follow-up habits, analytical discovery skills, and independent organization.
  • Applied competence using standard corporate office tools alongside practical familiarity navigating enterprise CRM management architectures.
  • Travel and Location Parameters: Position is 100% home-based but demands an absolute willingness to execute regular domestic business travel within Indonesia to engage clients face-to-face.
  • Legal Eligibility: Position is open exclusively to qualified commercial specialists who currently maintain the complete legal right to live and work permanently within Indonesia.

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

  • Prior commercial experience navigating the unique purchasing mechanics of the Academic Higher Education library markets or institutional research networks.
  • Functional knowledge of the academic publishing landscape, including digital copyright models or digital collection licensing methods.

What We Offer

  • Vetted, Corporate Regional Compensation Blueprint: Competitive base salary package calibrated to your market experience, augmented by a definitive performance-linked sales bonus structure.
  • Fully remote, home-based operational freedom within Indonesia, combined with a highly supportive, multinational APAC corporate group culture.
  • Excellent work-life balance provisions, including 20 days of initial annual leave (pro-rated), a paid holiday on your birthday, and 4 dedicated corporate volunteering days annually.
  • Top-tier localized enterprise healthcare insurance framework, offering voluntary cost-managed coverage options for your immediate family members.
  • The ultimate professional sandbox to manage a premier digital portfolio for a globally respected FTSE 100 knowledge brand, with corporate Share Match investment perks matching stock 2-for-1.
