Position Overview

We are seeking an analytically-minded, systems-oriented, and commercially-savvy Sales Engineer to join our global expansion group under a permanent, full-time remote framework within Malaysia. Operating at the direct intersection of technical project delivery, enterprise sales engineering, and business operations, you will step up to claim lead lifecycle management, systems requirements mapping, and multi-tier stakeholder coordination accountability. Shifting completely away from routine non-technical telesales, generic social media posting, or basic administrative typing, you will run an active subsea robotics value translation, cross-functional engineering timeline tracking, and risk assessment laboratory—partnering face-to-face with core hardware engineers, operational specialists, commercial directors, and enterprise clients. This position requires an engineering graduate with 0 to 3 years of professional exposure who architectures technical pipelines fluidly natively using Sales Representative frameworks, evaluates infrastructure dependencies cleanly within modern productivity suites, and directs cross-functional deployment tracking confidently to achieve strategic revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Revenue and Lead Lifecycle Management: Target, generate, and qualify high-intent opportunities within technical and engineering-driven sectors, building and maintaining a structured enterprise business pipeline.
  • Technical Solution Translation: Master deep fluency regarding the company’s underwater hardware systems and software architectures, transforming complex engineering specifications into commercially relevant narratives natively utilizing Sales Representative frameworks.
  • Data-Driven Forecasting: Analytical tracking of monthly lead conversion rates, compiling detailed performance dashboards, and constructing risk-adjusted sales forecasts to optimize pipeline efficiency.
  • Cross-Functional Project Coordination: Apply robust systems thinking to align multidisciplinary teams across engineering, field operations, and business divisions, ensuring project milestones remain strictly on schedule.
  • Technical Scoping and Client Management: Engage with technically sophisticated stakeholders to diagnose system constraints, translating complex operational challenges into structured engineering project scopes.
  • Risk and Root-Cause Analysis: Proactively apply rigorous risk assessment models to detect pipeline dependencies, infrastructure bottlenecks, and operational failure points, presenting clear mitigations to executive leadership.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Foundational Technical Education: Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent technical field of study.
  • 0 to 3 years of verified professional history operating within a technical sales, business development, systems integration, or engineering project coordination role.
  • Outstanding structured problem-solving and systems-thinking capabilities, with a clear comfort managing multiple moving parts inside ambiguous environments.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and persuasion strengths in English, with the capacity to hold authoritative technical debates with engineers and win trust with business executives.
  • Proficiency parsing data sets and maintaining documentation across tools like Excel, Notion, Jira, or similar project infrastructure platforms.
  • Location Context: Position features 100% remote parameters open to qualified technical professionals residing and working anywhere within Malaysia.

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

  • Prior hands-on engineering, assembly, or technical field delivery experience with robotics, autonomous unmanned systems, or industrial automation setups.
  • Exposure to the operational requirements of the defense, offshore energy, or commercial marine infrastructure industries.
  • Previous experience working inside an agile, fast-paced deep-tech startup framework.
