Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, highly technical Sales Engineer with deep domain expertise in cybersecurity presales, identity access governance, incident response, and open-source intelligence (OSINT). Serving as the core technical anchor during the sales lifecycle, you will partner directly with our Enterprise sales executives to articulate complex technical solutions to audiences with varying levels of domain knowledge. Moving beyond static presentations, you will leverage SpyCloud’s deep breach, malware, and botnet databases to hunt criminals in real-time, tailoring technical demonstrations to solve unique client use cases and driving high-value channel partner engagements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enterprise Sales Partnership: Partner closely with the enterprise account division to present customized SpyCloud risk mitigation solutions to executive-level buyers and security architects.
  • Adversary Tracking & Analysis: Leverage proprietary data streams to hunt threat actors, translating complex dark web investigative insights into practical client business context.
  • Product Demonstrations & Pilots: Lead deep-dive product demonstrations, technical presentations, proof-of-concept evaluations, and meticulous requirements analyses.
  • Channel Partner Architecture: Drive strategic channel partnerships by engaging fluidly with solution architects and subject matter experts (SMEs) across security networks.
  • Link Analysis Workflows: Apply investigative tools to perform relationship mappings and network analyses, interpreting raw compromise telemetry for prospective buyers.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with engineering and internal product braintrusts to deliver feedback loops regarding modern identity verification gaps and emerging darknet trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 7+ years of professional history operating within **cybersecurity presales, solutions engineering, or technical IT security consultancy** seats.
  • Deep conceptual and hands-on grounding across core technical domains including **Identity and Access Management (IAM), Incident Response, SaaS structures, and OSINT**.
  • Proven experience operating with advanced link analysis systems (such as **Maltego or IBM I2 Analyst Notebook** frameworks).
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and visual presentation mechanics, with a verified ability to make complex security concepts highly accessible to diverse enterprise teams.
  • A strong, existing professional network of enterprise-level IT and security stakeholders based in the United States.
  • Location Context: 100% remote-first full-time operational framework tailored for qualified professionals permanently residing within the United States or the United Kingdom.
  • Travel Parameters: Full personal availability to travel within your designated region as required to anchor client site reviews or regional industry events.

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

  • Foundational programming literacy or script automation competencies authored natively inside **Python** or an equivalent language.
  • Prior experience engineering security solutions targeting insider threat containment, active phishing tracking, or malware-infected device telemetry.
