Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced REXX Developer with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining REXX applications in IBM Mainframe environments. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Broadcom OPS/MVS automation rules, z/OS, DB2, and SQL.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using REXX on IBM Mainframe.
- Design and support Broadcom OPS/MVS automation rules for system automation and monitoring.
- Work with z/OS system components and troubleshoot production issues.
- Develop and optimize DB2 SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
- Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Perform code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure system stability.
- Prepare technical documentation and support production deployments.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with JCL, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, and IBM Utilities.
- Knowledge of Mainframe scheduling tools such as CA-7 or Control-M.
- Familiarity with Mainframe source code management tools (e.g., Endevor or Changeman).
- Experience working in Agile environments.
Required Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in REXX programming.
- Strong knowledge of Broadcom OPS/MVS rule development and automation.
- Good understanding of IBM z/OS operating system.
- Hands-on experience with DB2 database development.
- Strong proficiency in SQL.
- Experience in debugging and resolving production issues in Mainframe environments.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
