Drive the care revenue and clinical integrity across a network of 37 communities. Bridge clinical assessment data, pricing architecture, and staffing economics to identify margin drivers, cost misalignments, and network optimization opportunities. Provide visibility at every level — resident to community to region to system — so leadership can see exactly where variance is happening and what's driving it.
Key Responsibilities
Assessment to ERP Accuracy
- Audit resident acuity and care level assessments against financial documentation; working with community clinical staff, confirm assessments drive accurate billing.
- Quantify revenue impact: care that is billed too low represents revenue leakage, while care that is billed too high creates compliance and collections risk.
- Identify patterns — which assessors are outliers, which communities show assessment drift, and which acuity tiers drive the most margin sensitivity.
Pricing Architecture & Margin Analysis
- Model the relationship between assessments and actual cost to serve.
- Identify where pricing tiers don't align with cost drivers — for example, an intermediate care tier underpriced relative to assisted living or memory care.
- Track acuity creep: when average points rise but fees don't adjust, margin erodes; flag this across the portfolio.
- Quantify pricing leverage — if the memory care fee tier is adjusted by a given amount, what is the occupancy elasticity risk versus the margin gain.
Clinical and Operational Analysis
Clinical Revenue Strategy and Management
- Provide complete care management support for assigned senior living communities, ensuring optimal occupancy, rate integrity, and overall revenue performance.
- Manage unit inventory and ensure all pricing, promotions, and availability are accurately merchandised across all clinical channels and inquiry platforms.
- Evaluate total revenue performance by analyzing independent living, assisted living, memory care, respite, and ancillary care streams to maximize community profitability.
- Conduct weekly revenue strategy meetings to review care performance, pricing strategy, and mix by care level and segment.
- Assist with pricing updates, evaluation of group or referral partnerships, and displacement analysis; develop tools to support pricing and margin strategy.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in revenue analytics, FP&A, or revenue management — senior living, healthcare, or multifamily real estate operations strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience connecting clinical or operational data (e.g., resident acuity, care assessments) to financial and billing outcomes.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, with the ability to build analyses from scratch rather than simply maintain existing models.
- Experience with ERP and clinical/EMR systems (e.g., Yardi, PointClickCare, or similar senior living platforms) strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of SQL or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) for portfolio-level reporting across a network with multiple sites.
- Proven ability to translate complex financial and clinical data into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership and ownership groups.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to regional and corporate leadership.
- Highly attentive to detail and comfortable owning ambiguous problems that span multiple teams from start to finish.
